  1. Sorry to hear about this. Plenty of good advice has already been given. I can understand you love the car and are reluctant to reject but there are many other zeds out there in much better condition. And I'm sure you can find another UY GT4 if that's what you're set on, eventually. Hope it all gets resolved with as little hassle as possible.
  2. Black 370z roadsters with the top down on old shoreham road today at about 5. Would have waved but I wasn't in the zed. Also saw a midnight blue 350 roadsters in Tesco holmbush a few days ago. First one I've seen in that colour.
  3. Buster, what is the front lip you have fitted in this pic?
  4. Thanks for the advice all. It's all sorted now. Quick summary for anyone who may be interested: - eSure couldn't insure me on the zed!!! Didn't bother getting a quote for the saxo - Admiral wouldn't insure the recent engine swap in the saxo - Many other normal insurer's also wouldn't touch the saxo - Got both cars insured through Adrian Flux for £175 cheaper than the Admiral renewal, with better cover (lower excess, more mods, breakdown cover etc) - Other specialist insurer's couldn't match the Flux price
  5. Thanks guys, will give eSure a try. As for the saxo it's not even worth selling so I will just run it into the ground until something breaks or it fails MOT, unless you want to make me an offer brillo
  6. That's what I plan to do but struggling to find anyone that will insure both cars. Will give the guys on here a call later but not hopeful it will be cheaper from past experience
  7. It's that time of year again and my current insurer (Admiral) have hiked up the price for renewal. I'm on the look out for any recommendations for multi car insurance that is mod friendly so I can compare quotes and get the price back down. If it helps I am trying to insure the zed with just aftermarket exhaust and my shed saxo with a few mods (exhaust, induction, lowered, alloys, larger brakes) Obviously I will be ringing around the usual 'specialist' suspects but they can never seem to give a decent quote. Maybe because I'm 24? So, any recommendations guys?
  8. Great photos +1 Was a brilliant way to spend a Sunday morning. Good to catch up with Dan and Pete and a nice selection of cars on display. Shame we missed you other guys but the zed's looked great. I particularly enjoyed the drive in keeping pace with a DB9 through the countryside and the drive home was equally fun, following Dan's lovely zed (sounded awesome through the tunnel) and a pair of Lamborghini's for most of the way
  9. Yeah it's PO19 4WT, can't miss it it's on the roundabout on the A27 you come off at to get to Goodwood
  10. Car is clean ready for tomorrow For anyone that wants to meet before I will be at McDonald's for breakfast from around 7 with a view to leave after half past
  11. The McDonald's close to the circuit seems like a popular meeting place but I'm up for meeting anywhere en route. Not sure if I will stick to the A27 or use some of the country roads
  12. Passed you going in the opposite direction and got a wave this morning. Was nice to see another zed, not seen many 370's in the area.
  13. Hi mate, bet you can't wait to pick it up! The breakfast club is just a morning gathering of cars/owners at the circuit with a set theme each time, as I'm sure you're aware. I like it as it has a relaxed atmosphere (apart from the manic Supercar Sunday) and most people are nice and happy to chat. You can arrive/leave when you like and it's a good way to kill a couple of hours on a Sunday morning, but don't expect a major car show type event. I go to most of them (even when the zed is excluded from the circuit) just for the drive and to have a look at the cars.
  14. Less than a week to go now. Looking forward to it, will mark a year of owning my zed and was the first meet I attended in it. Anyone interested in attending that has not already applied via Goodwood get on it
  15. Mine keeps doing this with a number of devices I have tried. None of them connect to the ECU and the Bluetooth signal keeps dropping. I may take a punt on this, hopefully will work on mine as it seems like you experienced similar problems to me with the cheapy ELM's. If it doesn't work I give up
  16. I have seen that one (or another azure with the same kit) at Jap showdown at Beaulieu. Let's just say it isn't one of them things that looks any better in person than pics.
  17. and great intro. I also bought a GT4 for my slightly before quarter life crisis
  18. I'm always up for a meet down this way but as mentioned above the Woodman meet is a good one. jimboy2 has also started a thread for the Goodwood Breakfast club if you guys haven't seen it yet
  19. I will be going and have received my confirmation email too. I'm up for meeting before so we can get the zeds parked together
  20. Cant remember exactly where it was but was pretty close Kaizer, maybe the A289? I was heading back towards the M25 in my yellow 350 but only saw you last second so didn't have time to give a flash
  21. Ahhh wish I could of stayed at Sly's for longer on Saturday but I had to get back. Nice little mini meet you guys had there, all the cars looked great. Pretty sure I passed the black zed on the way home
  22. Only just seen this but I would be up for a meet/drive at some point. There are quite a few of us on here from the area I think. I will be attending the V-Power Breakfast Club at Goodwood next month and will stick up something on here in the next couple of weeks to see if anyone else is planning on going. It may be a good place to meet and then go for a drive after.
  23. The error from NDS states 'set allow long failed' as the status
