  1. If only I wasn't married plus baby I'd go for a built motor to up the boost. I'm already addicted before I got hooked up to it! But there's always the retirement age to look forward to. Don't think you could hold on to it for 30yrs, could you?
  2. that Honda NSX Pure car porn! ah sorry, off-topic
  3. Ok i see. Toe has been zeroed all round, and rear negative camber slightly increased. Is this a costly job? No aftermarket alignment parts needed? Would Kwik-Fit do a good wheel alignment, too, or should I avoid them? I love their JM Import's scissor car jack!
  4. From factory our Z got a bit negative camber, rear more so, front less so. In what way has your alignment been changed that you find an improvement in handling? Is your camber now zero, front and rear? Thx for infos
  5. What a fantastic sound!!! Well done. Are our Z's wheels misaligned from factory or did you change ur suspension before? Just curious if I should also have an alignment done.
  6. Dont listen too much to other ppls taste. U gotta like it m8 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Hi John! I wish I had a chance to go for a spin, too. Been the only dry day in ages. But I've been busy all day with our baby boy, as every day ^^ Your Z is looking stunning as always. At the time when I considered the Stillen SC I also already planned on featuring "Supercharged" badges. So yes, I like yours Best wishes René
  8. Hi guys, after setting my Eibach's to front 1st hole, rear 2nd hole, I had a chance to drive the car for a short distance, yesterday. The change in handling is instantly noticeable. Also, the steering changed noticeably. The feedback is heightened. On streets with surface imperfections and grooves, though, the steering is a bit more 'nervous' and wants to follow it. The rear end feels tightened up, too. I like the setting now and won't go any stiffer
  9. Sounds great! Where did u purchase ur umbrella kit? Is there a UK distributor? Apologies for the off-topic question 😉 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Good to know I just googled at the370.com and found following data on the Eibachs. Based on this I should indeed start with front 1st setting, rear 2nd setting instead of all-out stiffest: Front stiffness Stock: 416 lb/in2 Eibach 1st setting: 730 lb/in2 (75% stiffer) Eibach 2nd setting: 900 lb/in2 (116% stiffer) Rear stiffness Stock: 374 lb/in2 Eibach 1st setting: 627 lb/in2 (68% stiffer) Eibach 2nd setting: 741 lb/in2 (98% stiffer) Eibach 3rd setting: 860 lb/in2 (130% stiffer)
  11. Thanks for the advice, Adrian. My thinking was that I'd like to be able to drift this car one future day for which one would want as little body roll as possible, no? I have read a stiff rear reduces grip in the wet, which I'm not bothered about since I never drive the car in rain. But I shall try out both settings, neutral and stiff.
  12. Finally found some time to, among changing nappies and prep'ing bottles, install my suspension upgrades, which I sourced through Torqen: - Eibach Anti-roll Swaybar kit (#6393.320) - SPL PRO Rear Swaybar Endlinks (#SPL RE Z33) I set both adjustable sway bars to "stiffest". The front bar is 1.00 kg heavier and 20% thicker than stock. The rear bar is 1.66 kg heavier and 18% thicker than stock. I won't get the chance to test drive the setup yet because of the winter weather.
  13. Thanks Adrian but i pass on that option. Carbon trim is not needed for me I shall spend that money on other go-fast-bits. E.g., I still want KW V3 coilovers and Umbrella VRH Cup kit.
  14. Wow stunning looks and 50% more flow? I am in on the pre-sale. Must have one for my AAM TT Kit
  15. Thx James. Can't quite tell yet whether i'll be able to join. I'd surely love to. Right now I'm watching over my latest addition: our 1day old baby boy at the Trinity ward, Chesterfield hospital. He is gorgeous and full time work 😛
  16. Thx @nissanman312. Adrian just said this two posts ago. I am the next one up:
  17. Just built my own race ramps which I need for my low-clearance amuse bumper (previously I had to always remove the bumper before driving onto the red ramps) and I don't see the justification for the £££ of real race ramps. I used two 2.4m long timber planks, sawed them into wedges, and twelve 4mm thick aluminium sheets (20x20cm). Both from Ebay for £63 total. Ideal for the install of my new Eibach anti-roll bars this weekend. I'll post some pics soon.
  18. Received my Eibach Anti-roll bars via next-day delivery, and thus, in time for Xmas! Torqen are the best! Many thx and Merry Xmas all
  19. Wow, what the heck are those stunning blue Intake manifolds on the SEMA pictures, Adrian? Is this available? Is it beneficial for a boosted stock-block?
  20. Ah, this interference with our RHD steering column was quite expected. Thus, Torqen most probably need to now redesign the RHD exh/Manifold to clear the column. Full steam ahead
  21. Im anxiously awaiting an update on your build, HaydnH Btw, have you considered taking the opportunity of the motor being pulled and strengthening it internally at all?
  22. Hey Adrian, how is the 350Z HE's AAM TT RHD install coming along? When should I expect to be called in? Best wishes René
  23. OMG, this site already blows my mind! More aftermarket parts than the Z counts OEM parts! It's gonna be so epic Title it: TORQEN -- The definitive 1-stop Zed shop in UK!
