  2. I think they are good for around 60k to 70k from new. You can probably skip this time. I might be wrong (someone please correct me) - I think your zed will go into limp mode if any plug failed and dash lights, don't think it will destroy your engine (unless you continue to drive it). Have a look at the guide here. 6 x plugs will be around £60-£70 hence £100 for labour (around 2 hrs max for a trained mechanic). If I'm doing it, I'm expecting around 4 hrs. I find joy in disassembling and assembling stuff......I'll learn more about my zed too. You'll probably do a better job than a Nissan mechanic as they are most likely to be as clueless as you are, they don't get many 350z going in.
  3. Spark plugs can be a bit of a mission if you are not familiar with it. Find a local specialist rather then the Stealership.
  4. I remember a forum member was doing the same thing using carbon fiber bits he has lying around the workshop. I can't seems to find the thread now.
  5. If you wanted to buy one, I'm sure he'll have a few in stock and will sort you out. Bonus: You don't have to worry about the purchased part as they are pretty much 100% guaranteed to work.
  6. Hello and welcome You can get a new head unit with satnav for that price!! Those stealership always try their luck.......
  7. 'Ladybird' edition = Automatic???
  8. I'm struggling to find any info about 'Ladybird' edition --> https://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201710300796501?sort=sponsored&make=NISSAN&radius=1500&colour=Black&onesearchad=Used&onesearchad=Nearly New&onesearchad=New&advertising-location=at_cars&model=350 Z&postcode=hd33gg&page=1 Anyone know anything about this?
  9. Happy retirement Lexx!! Thanks for your contribution to the forum which makes this a great place to stay!!
  10. I think that's a pricey zed IMO. You can get an OK 370z at that price with slightly more mileage. I'm definitely biased here --> old DE (mine) are on the lower tax bracket, £300 per year compared to £500. HR has issue with oil gallery gasket (not all of them but most). You can easily mod a DE to achieve similar power or higher than an HR with the ££ you saved from road tax HR guys
  11. Press and hold that little black button. Single press will switch from trip 'A' to trip 'B' , holding it for few seconds will reset them to zero.
  12. Good luck with the sale or part ex, check with one of the mod if you can advertise your Mini here to part ex for 350z. Unfortunately I'm looking for an estate else I might be interested with a Mini. If you managed to sell the Mini privately, please do check back here as I'm not actively selling it at the moment hence it could well still be here and still just 10-15mins away.
  13. Hello and welcome Mine's currently for sale if this interest you -->
  14. or you can DIY. I've seen few forum members getting it sorted themselves.
  15. Hello and welcome I'm biased as I have a DE (few less horses, but cheaper on tax) and it's for sale at the moment Kuro black - Fastest zed of all colours. Well within your budget with spare £££ to spend for mods (new exhaust + remap + spacer) will get you near slightly closer to HR figure and save on yearly tax and no potential issue with oil gasket.
  16. Try recon the seal using 'Gummi Pflege Stift' from Germany. You can get them from Ebay for around £6 delivered. This stuff should soften the seals and improve the sealing. Worth a try before spending £85 + VAT.
  17. No worries mate, good luck your hunt. You'll enjoy the zed!!
  18. Hello and welcome Mine's currently for sale if that interest you --> Dan (above) has pretty much answered all your questions. Good luck with your claim.
