    Trying Swiswax

What do you think of swissvax? Some of their stuff is crazy expensive. Worth it?
  4. It might not be to everyone's taste but we're all on here because of our love of cars, zeds in particular and no one wants to here of another het owners property being damaged. More graphics are certainly helping with the look so carry on and it will all come good Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk
  5. Tv tuners are about £150 on eBay and will give you all the freeview channels. Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk
  6. Cracking work but neither suites the cars they were made for in my opinion. He's talented though
  7. I would certainly get a couple of the smaller pads too (and backing plates if necessary) to get into all the nooks. I didn't think i'd need them at first but soon bought some.
  8. I wouldn't pay nearly £300 for a knackered front bumper - or am I missing something?

    Oh lord

Would love a go in it - would hate to own it. Lets be honest its an old car and a lot of money. It's also a car that when it goes wrong (which of course it will being so modified) who on earth could fix the bugger and at what cost. Cracking looking kit but I would be far too scared to drive it through fear of a rather costly breakdown.
  11. Agreed. Oh well, I'll ditch it shortly once it's replacement arrives. Thanks all for the recommendation for Scholl Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk
  12. Freshly washed pad every time using them with the pressure and speed etc as per the sonus guides. As I say, everything else I've used on the DA machine goes on a treat (splitting panels into small areas at a time) it's just this one particular polish. I'm sure it's possibly gone bad even though I've only had it for less than a year and began using it as soon as I got it - always with the same results. I'll order up some Scholl shortly as I need to get some brushes anyway. Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk
  13. Everything thing else I apply machine needs only the minimum of effort to buff off, this stuff just doesn't want to shift. Often wonder if its gone off
  14. It just seems like harder work than it should be. Doesn't break down well at all, leaves loads of residue on the car and then when removing its a pig.
  15. Is the offset much different? I have found that can cause problems
  16. When I bought my DA machine I got the Sonus kit with 4 different grades of polish, each with its own pad. The kit works well but I just can't get on with stage 3 which is the SFX-3 final finish Polish. This just doesn't seem to work as well as the 2 stages prior or stage 4 which is a sealant. It doesn't work in nicely and takes more work that I think it should to remove. Any recommendations for a finishing polish that I can use in its place?
  17. Yes, and it was at Christmas she said it so I gave the same response. Bloody wrong'un Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk
  18. I've always known it as blue and green should never be seen but a girl I know says red and green. How funny Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk
  19. That's bad news, sorry to hear it Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk
  20. I think it looks good, though as you say, perhaps not entirely perfect. I have a factory fitted Nismo kit and the tips of the rear spoiler very nearly touch the boot lid, only a small piece of foam separate the two so I think yours is a reproduction. Still looks good though and not many would pick up on these things I doubt
  21. Do remember that we have some insurer on here who occasionally join in conversations...
  22. Judging by the reaction they've had, I'm not sure it would be the end of the world to remove them. Sorry, I really wasn't trying to agravate you, you posted pictures of your work inviting opinions. I gave mine. As many have suggested, ditch the tacky stickers, choose one of the two colours and no doubt you'll have a nice looking car. Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk
  23. Wasn't really working for me, then the stickers just made it far worse. Either colour by itself would be cracking. Awful to see the Kia in the background covered up yet the Aston left to get covered in cr@p
  24. I knew you'd get bored with the civic quite quickly. I really wanted to love the one I drove but it just felt dull with horrible suspension. Audi is a better bet I reckon
  25. My brother in law is putting in an order currently for a Jag XF in white with the black pack and black alloys. I was surprised how good it looked in the showroom. Is that an option?
