I use total oil in mine and not had any problems with it so far .

You wont have a problem with companys recognising the 10 month ncd because when u get proof of ncd it comes as a full year. Ive used them policys before and never had any problems.

Ive got a ebay banana arm thats been fitted for about 2 years and ive not had a problem yet.

Thanks rock_steady. ive seen a few threads on the vaccume pipes causing all kinds of running issues with the standard twin turbos installed. If i do go ahead and purchase the car il probably replace all the rats nest hoses/vaccume hoses ect for new silicone ones if it already hasnt been done.

Thanks coldel I did try joining an rx7 forum but for some reason it wouldnt let me log in even after resetting passwords ect so i just gave up with that. I assume it was my phone playing up on the site. Il give it another go later. Still if anyone has any info on here itl be great too

Been thinking recently about buying a fd3s rx7. The car i been looking at is a uk car apparently lots of history including rebuilds, and a word of mouth rebuid 2000 miles ago. The car is real tidy no dents or scratches and unmodified no rust or rott. Not even an aftermarket air filter or exhaust. Whats the things to look for when buying these rotary engine cars ? Ive looked online for guides and found a few but like to know if anyones had experience with these cars. Thanks

Thanks jetpilot. I was thinking that it might be a bit hardwork packaging all the stuff and sending it out ect. Thing is this whole car costs around the same price as buying just an engine. So as long as i could sell some of the car in parts for what i brought it for i wont mind too much as i dont want to make money i just want the engine really.

Ive owned my 350z with no problems for around 3 years, Recently its been using oil which im not overly bothered about but do want to get around to sorting it. Its on 140k miles now and ive found an accident dammaged car for cheap with 80k on the clock with history ect. Was thinking of dropping the 80k engine into my zed and maybe breaking the old engine and donor car for parts after to outweigh the costs of the engine swap. Just wondering if anyone had any better options as to what they would do in this situation. Id also need someone to fit the engine for me as i dont have the space anymore so any sugestions for that too would be great. Thanks.

I sold my uk pre facelift xenon headlights on ebay for £300 with all ballasts and bulbs included. For my facelift headlights i paid £190 for one headlight on gumtree and £130 for the other on ebay. So my facelift lights cost me around £20 once my old xenons sold. Good luck with the search

Great job. The 06+ headlights do transform the front end and the light output is more crisp at night. Car looks real nice.

I second hastings, im 26 with 6 years ncd and im paying 360 a year. And i was with them last year too and i paid around 380 odd.

This was my abarth (not a 595), owned it for around 6 months and it was constantly breaking down, coilpacks always failing , leaking water into the car,wet carpets ect abarth dealers dont care even when its under warranty. Fun cars to drive but id never buy another one. Like any car u get the good ones and the bad ones. I just got a fridaynight special i think haha.

The mot tester has never even sat in mine While ive owned it. The last two mots ive done the test with him.

They did my mates exhaust on his 328i from the cat back for £350. I got a quote for my 350z for a single exit which was £350. We did notice last week though that one of the brackets from the exhaust have snapped off and made a hole in the back box though.. But im sure it wont be a problem for them to resolve .
