  1. Got a set you can use? Im in east london though, would require some kind of deposit lol so i know you aint gonna do a runner, do the tyres need to be legal?

  3. After scotland.... i think it has been thrashed beyond its means lol.
  4. Happy to lend a hand if your local changing discs and pads, pretty straight forward to do.
  5. Mines doing it right now, drivers side! I've looked into it and you can take the old motor out, split it open, clean it up and it will resolve the issue, but i've been watching a couple on ebay and second hand the motors are making 40-50 quid.

  8. With that comment I have highlighted surely a head gasket, or crack? New gasket, block and heads were pressure tested for cracks etc.. Was honed by the builder not the machinist.

Right so cars got blueish/more white than blue smoke, oil level dropping fast, has straight through decats on it, have hooned it the 2nd thousand miles lol. will do another oil change tomorrow night as i noticed it was dirty again after the hoon around scotland! but it has to be valve related i suppose? Valve stem seals where replaced. one was really worn which we thought was the whole cause.

  11. Right so as you know my engine was rebuilt. Everything except for the Valves and the pistons where replaced. and i mean everything, every bolt, gasket, seal you can think of was replaced, oil pump water pump, chains etc.. everything. heads skimmed crank reground polished etc.. So anyway, car drives sweet. However, its still the same as before and still smokes. I've replaced the PCV valve which was blowing both ways, but its not made a difference, where could the oil be going?? Its smoking when hard driven over 5k+ rpm. Before you ask, i drove it like miss daisy for 1000 miles before driving hard so its not like i didnt run it in lol. Just want to find out if anything else breather wise can fail? Or could it be caused by the valves? they were all checked and resealed/reground etc.. thanks in advance. Brad.
  12. My mrs has just got back from majorca, i think i spoke to her maybe once twice a day at a push, she messaged me saying night when she went to bed that's all i needed to know she was safe lol. Just let them get on with it.
  13. tbf, when they said the challenge was a drive to Blackpool. i watched it in about 5 mins, got bored when Joey (yes i know thats not his name but it is to me lol) started moaning about his car being broke and sat on the back of the recovery truck and i switched it off.
  14. I always wax mine by hand! As long as you got the elbow for it go for it! Its never gonna be as good as a rotory polisher but it still looks better!

  18. I'd say remove it tbh i will when i get some. when you wash the car, take a look in there its always full to the brim with dirt!
