  1. Hey. Video would be great. I find my ark with Berks incredibly loud and drony. It sets the neighbours alarm off in the mornings when I cold start it lol also some vibration which might be the W brace the exhaust might be touching now. You have any issues like that? Inside the car the drone is insane! I cruise in 5th gear rather than 6th Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Thanks for the replies. Yeah the exhaust tone has totally changed. Adrian your car sounds good! Can't ever appreciate the loudness of an exhaust via video I find but I like the tone of it. I'll check if it's fouling on the cross brace. Silly question but where is the cross brace? There was a point when I thought I was getting a lot of crackle and pops from the hfc which I thought was nice but now I think they are odd vibrations lol! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Hey, i recently purchased an ark grip exhaust off a local member and installed it along with my existing berks hfc. the volume is insane and the drone is substantial. when i heard the exhaust on his car it was a lot more subtle and this is what i was looking for. so what I'm thinking is: 1. either the berks hfc are the source of the noise and i should go back to stock cats; 2. there is a leak in the exhaust somewhere which is leading to the insane amount of drone and the volume. is anyone else running this exhaust with HFC and whats the verdict? we didn't have the ark gaskets so the installer used a gasket sealant. I'm considering getting some official gaskets to see if they help to ensure that its definitely not any leaks. there is also a lot of rattling of the exhaust too so i think it might be contacting some metal part of the car. the heat shield has been removed under the boot because it was already really loose. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks!

Hey Recently got an ark grip exhaust and paired it with my Berks HFC. It's so loud though and I'm considering putting my standard cats in. However my standard cats are like 5 years old and have seen 25k miles. Anyone out there with newer cats who want to get rid of theirs? Thanks Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  15. Hmm they look a bit comical just hanging up tbh. Also I find there is no 'click' when using the extenders so I don't know how many turns I've given it. Is this normal? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. How can we make the rear extenders flush with the panel? Right now my extenders are hanging out. Thanks Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. I've got a lot of underlay in my boot and it helped a bit but not a massive amount. Now looking to add some mass loaded vinyl underneath the carpet in the boot. 19. It worked!! Thanks! This should be stickied. Well maybe the thread cleaned up then stickied. So useful especially when it's raining outside and someone frantically looking for a way to get their window back up lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Zeus thank you so much. I'm gonna try this and if it works, your a legend!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Hey all I removed the door card on the driver side to try and Install sound deadening and ended up putting everything back together again when it started raining. Now however, when I open the door, the window goes down a tad but doesn't go up again when the door closes. If I keep opening and closing the door, the window just goes down a bit each time until it's fully open. Any ideas what it could be?? Passenger side is fine Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Thanks for replies guys. So seems like some people suffer from this too. I have my seat all the way back and still find the pedals too close. I'm 6ft 1. The video on how to set up the seat isn't patronising. It's good to have an idea of how it should be setup but there's not much chat about feet position. Like I've heard that you shouldn't keep your heel at the base of the brake pedal and rotate your foot for accelerator use. It supposedly adds excess stress on your knee. Other alternative is to always move your whole leg but that seems too slow and clumsy! Anyone have any advise or videos regarding this? Lastly should the brake pedal be in the middle of the steering wheel? What's it like in a Porsche Cayman or gt86 which is meant to be two of the best cars for driving position? Thanks Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Does anyone get a really sore knee when driving their car?? It's really starting to annoy me now. I've pinpointed it down to it being my car after 2 years of researching what triggers it. The inside part of my knee cap gets sore and swollen. I think it's because the pedals are too much to the right. The brake pedal should be in the centre of the steering but it's not because we have a foot rest. I would have much preferred no foot rest and at least then the car wouldn't be crippling me lol Anyone else experienced this and what's the fix? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
