  2. You're right! Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk
  3. Car looks great! Speaking of annoying Day 1 costs I managed to maroon my Zed on a badly gravelled driveway and rip my Y pipe flexis to shreds. This was 6 hours into ownership! Next day spent £150 all in having a new Y Pipe fabricated and fitted. Ah the joys of car ownership! Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk

  6. Not to be a skeptic but the more time that passes the more chance you have of never hearing from them again. Have you asked the supermarket to see if they have any footage of the accident at all? Would make a nice fall back just in case. Also once your car is in his dads shop I highly doubt your insurance will help you out if it all goes to crap. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk
  7. I think they often hold one at the large Tesco in Yate mate? Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk
  8. Welcome. Bristol based too. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk
  9. No problem! You'll find alot of stuff off ebay is junk. Some stuff is amazing value mind. The aerials they have up for grabs however are not great and just crap. My ebay aerial cost £4 and is sat in one of the cars many cubby holes. The Tarmac Sportz genuine S2000 aerial is sat on the car and gives me perfect reception. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk
  10. Horrendous. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk

  12. But that's why people would hire out a sports car, to thrash it? If I had a black box fitted to mine I would have to deactivate it when I had the car back that's for sure! People hire sports cars to avoid all of the downsides like costly insurance, running costs etc so they can just enjoy the fun part: Giving it a good old spanking! Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk
  13. Nice weather today mate! Get driving! Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk
  14. Where did you buy it from Kerry? I bought one off of ebay and it was junk. Like you I had zero reception so tossed it in the bin and bought a Honda S2000 RDX Stubby off of Tarmac Sportz. (A trader on here) Cost £13 delivered and works perfectly. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk

  16. As silly as it may sound, but it may not be entirely beneficial to yourself to post up potential cars that you wish to buy. Although I am often wrong. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk
  17. Welcome to the forum mate! My car has 118,000 on the clock and runs perfectly. It also has no evidence of a clutch change but that too feels solid with no slipping. These are nice big V6 lumps and won't fall apart at 60,000 miles. Just check the car has been serviced properly and is in good condition and you shouldn't go far wrong. 18. Hey Will, is it the laughing policeman??? Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk
  19. You'd better! I'm not offering you mine any more haha Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk
  20. For the price you are paying a sticking roof is no big deal. As Jetset said, it's been sat for ages so needs well lubrication to get it going again. No big deal buddy! Have you bought it then yet or what's happening? Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk
  21. Cheers guys! Where is the ideal place for the oil to be showing on the dipstick? Currently it has sat at the half way mark since I purchased the car 3 months ago. It seems to use very little as I haven't had to top it up once and I check it weekly. Also what tools are required to remove the sump plug and oil filter? Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk
  22. Thanks Vlad! That's great mate. Do I need to jack the car up on one side only, is the pan situated so that it's best to drain with just one wheel cocked? Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk
  23. Hey guys! I have 5 litres of Motul Fully Synth 5w 30, an OEM Nissan Oil Filter, and a crush washer. Now what? Haha How much goes in exactly? I read '4.7 with filter', what does this mean? I was going to give this a go myself but os it worth taking to a 'proper mechanic'? Advice appreciated! (Secondly, is Tapatalk the biggest pile of crap going or what? Whenever trying to use the search function it is useless so I have to start topics that have been answered 8 billion times before!) Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk
  24. Oil and filter arrived today thanks Ewen! Here's another daft question, I've looked into how much oil the car takes when changing it and I keep seeing '4.7 litres with the filter'. What does that mean...? Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk
  25. He's not short of cash so filled it up on premium unleaded then dumped it in a car park! Hahaha Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk
