I can understand where you're coming from nowhereboy. I'm also 25 and this is my first high performance car and although I've not owned the car for even a month, I did a rough calculation today and I've already spent close to £500 on a combination of fuel and buying small bits and pieces to mod the car. But for me, this car's been a dream for the past 8 years, and it's got a family history (Ajay Panchal, one of the designers of the car is my cousin) and I didn't think twice about how much it's going to cost me to run. Having said that, I've still kept my 1.4TDI VW Polo which is my everyday runner and the good thing is, because I don't drive the Z daily, I always look forward to the weekend to take her out because I know the drive is going to be worth the money I'm putting in the fuel tank. But like some of the guys on here have said, it's a personal choice and if it's simply not the car for you then you have to make the decision and not look back...good luck with whichever path you decide to go down!

I got annoyed at my mate the other day. We got into my Polo to go to the gym and it was parked on the drive next to the Z. Guess what he does...opens the door and knocks it against the Z even though he had enough space to get in without open the door fully. Cheeky bugger then goes "Oh don't worry it was nothing! And it's only materialistic!" I'd love for him to say if I foot him with a bill for damages and say "Don't worry, money is only materialistic" Should have made him walk to the gym

Unfortunately I still have to work on the Bank Holiday

On another note, when adding a lip, can it simply be added onto the OEM bumper without having to change the entire thing?

I like the first one too! It's subtle but gives the car that edge still. Nismo looks like the car has a long chin

Hi guys I've bought the eyelids from Steve at Redline and in the process of getting them sprayed and colour coded to my car. I found one local place who quotes me £60 which is more than what I paid for them! Wanted to ask if there's someone in our community who can help out with this please? I'm based in Barkingside, Ilford. The closer the better but obviously if someone comes recommended and for a reasonable price I'm willing to travel a bit. Thanks

I stayed a cottage about 10mins from the city centre. Oh and if you're going to be driving into the city watch out for the bus lanes, they will sting you £60 everytime you enter them! I was lucky because the patron at our cottage warned us beforehand

That's the alternative method I was thinking of as I've got a blank space next to my heated seats switches. How can I access the 12v power socket to feed off its power? You can get a 12v supply right behind the heater switches via the cigarette lighter socket. I don't have a cigarette lighter socket where my heated seat switches are. I've got a cigarette lighter socket by the passenger footwell but haven't tried to see what access is like. Just thinking what would be easier, linking straight into sidelights or via its own switch?

Bath is beautiful mate, been there twice now for a weekend break. Main thing to visit is the Roman Baths, but also a lot of historic buildings including the cathedral there. In the high street there's usually a street act depending on what time you go. I've seen a magician and a comedian when I was there. If the weathers good get the Italian gelato ice cream too

That's how I used to have them in my polo, a dim glow at night when I have my lights on. I was thinking of having them just come on and off with the doors but I'd prefer them to be on all the time with sidelights

I'm looking to add amber footwell lights to my Z and want them to come on with my sidelights. In my other car it was simple to wire it straight into the switch but I'm not sure where to wire it in with the Z. Has anyone done this before and if so is there a guide?
