  1. ^^ What he said. I like it and a splash of colour in the engine bay is never a bad thing.
  2. They are. http://www.opieoils.co.uk/ This is what I use as well. Just purchased 5 litres from Opie yesterday as it goes.
  3. Got to ask you now as I'm curious, have you ever smoked? ...and I mean really smoked, not just a few puffs on a cigarette when you're drunk or some cr*p, ....but every single day, almost every single hour or so that your awake for years of your life?
  4. +1. Good work hawker. Hope the dent man can sort out the dent cheaply enough.
  5. This look's to me like the kit you have fitted; http://www.tarmacsportz.co.uk/GB/350z_03-06_Injen_Cold_Air_Intake/350z-SP1986P_.aspx Tarmac Sportz are a trader on here so you could always send him a PM to see if he has any replacement cone filters for this particular kit. You could just buy a K&N cone filter or similar to fit it but I wouldn't want to link you to a cone filter as there are so many different sizes that it would no doubt be the wrong one without knowing the fitment size.
  6. Phftt, smoking for 4.5 years doesn't really count so no wonder you stopped so easily, ...not even a real smoker till you hit decades. I've been smoking for 23 years odd Vlad so I doubt I could do it in one day even if I wanted to. Which I don't. Well done though seriously.
  7. I'd try a PM to ZMANALEX in regards to the ashtray as he may have one if you're lucky. Otherwise eBay maybe?
  8. Welcome aboard and glad to hear you're going to be in a Zed very soon. Nismo body kit hhhmmm.
  9. At least it's not just gone up in smoke though.
  10. Most of the kit's come with everything you will need to fit as Bems mentioned (apart from tools of course ). If you mean my kit ~ The Stillen kit made no mention of fitting the single bolt to the front slam panel so I had to use a spare bolt & JDM washer that I had laying around to do that part. Came with everything else though. Wasn't the easiest kit to get fitting correctly if I'm honest. With the Takeda I'd PM Tarmac Sportz and ask them the question about the heat shields as I see no mention of them here; http://www.tarmacspo...-Short-Ram.aspx
  11. Thought you where smarter than that Dan (no offence ). It's easy for some people to just say "oh yeah I'd just stop smoking". Anyway it's not like I'm going broke but who wouldn't like an extra £1500 a year?! I actually enjoy smoking but would rather not pay these silly prices that cigarettes in this country now cost. From what I have seen so far this vaping would be a much cheaper way to get my nicotine/smoking fix. As I said earlier I only bought one yesterday so early days but so far it's good.
  12. Bl**dy hell that's expensive. So it's solid Gold then right?! It is a lot cheaper than smoking cigarettes though you're right. I worked out that on average I probably spend around the £1500 mark a year on cigarettes. Not a great deal by some peoples standards but then I don't earn a lot so if I can get most of that back by vaping instead then I'm definitely up.
  13. Probably was me. From what I've heard it's supposed to be the best induction kit for performance as it is pretty much entirely enclosed (so no heat soak), has a velocity stack ring to increase air flow speed and gives good gains. It's not very loud compared to the JWT pop charger or similar cone induction kits but it is slightly louder than the OEM airbox if you're after a bit more noise. Now I haven't had my Zed on a dyno yet so couldn't really comment on whether some of these claims are true and to be scientific it would need a back to back test against an OEM air box and other kits. In reality you're not really going to gain a lot from just an air induction kit or panel filter anyway. Did you want something just for more noise or where you hoping to get the best performance wise?
  14. Nasty. Will any of it just "polish" out do you think? Hope so.
  15. +1 Mate I can relate to this so much. In the 18+ months I've had my Zed, I've done 300 miles on my bike. And I don't think any of those were done last year It'll be for sale in the spring me thinks. Not much fun being a biker these days, so many idiots on the roads.... not that all bikers are blameless, nearly killed a biker just yesterday, on the M25, went past 2 lorries overtaking each other, as soon as I was past checked my mirror, indicated left and moved lanes, didn't see the bike doing 100+ fly up behind me, decide I was going way to slow at 70 (cough) and undertake me without slowing down, he very very nearly hit me, almost lost it and would have gone under an 18 wheeler! Sent from the golf club... Shocking. That could have been very messy.
  16. ^^ Welcome and what he said. You're probably looking at an 03-04 Zed then with high "ish" mileage for that budget but doesn't mean you won't be able to get a nice one. Just make sure you get one with a FSH and don't let the mileage worry you too much as they are reliable car's when properly maintained (must be run on Super Unleaded btw). Some more info that may help here; http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/22880-guide-for-new-memberspotential-buyers/ http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/77426-buyers-guide/ http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/56308-what-can-happen-if-you-run-your-zed-on-95-ron/
  17. Welcome aboard Jay. Glad to hear you already know Gun Metal is the best colour to get.
  18. Welcome aboard. So did you get the coupe or roadster? GT spec? Enjoy it either way.
  19. Any links with these EVODs? Still only been at it a day but doesn't hurt to learn about what's out there.
  20. Can we have a 'don't like' button pleeeeze ? can we have a vomit button pleeeeeeze ?
  21. Thanks might do. Googled the Kayfun ~ look's good quality and from what I saw they are German made. Was your's expensive? does it have variable voltage? Just going to stick with my Kanger Tech T3S for now just to see how I get on with it but so far so good. Haven't had a cigarette since around 3:30pm this afternoon.
  22. ^^ I'm sure I can give you some of the love back ~ here's a "like". Feel better?
  23. Great work ~ I'm sure ddcboyle and others really appreciated the help you've given them.
