Thank you I was wondering at what stage the dash lights are checked? When I clear my engine management light, it will stay off for an undefined amount of time, SO, if I clear it on their forecourt and they check it's off straight away, if it comes on after the "ok" box has been ticked, will it then fail? According to my MOT man if the light came on during the test even after it was checked (which is at the start of the test btw) then technically it should fail but that would only be if the tester actually noticed. He said it would have to a fairly miserable *@** tester that would fail it

It looks like its just the pads are standard Mintex, the discs appear to be generic blanks that have been drilled and grooved. They are made by M-Tec who Ive never heard of. At that price I would say they are low grade Chinese discs.

So many main dealers seem to be using generic barrel oil to service everything that comes through their door, its poor though that you specifically asked for the correct oil and they still didnt use it. As others have said get onto the service manager and tell him you want it changed, then find a good independent for your next service

The EBC Yellow stuff although not a good pad for normal fast road driving is no use for serious track use, I think you've worked this out for yourself though Let me know if you need some DS2500's, we always have them in stock

Hopefully the Zed will prove to be a great everyday fun car to drive and have some occasional track action. Nice always loved them, I'm sure the Zed will still be a lot of fun though

Yes we have supplied these for a while now, they are good value for money. We will be releasing the new DBA T2 disc in January which will be a similar price to the Stoptech, as with the Stoptech they will be ok for light track use.

It will certainly help, as has been mentioned your next step after that would be uprated anti roll bars. What mileage is currently on your car? It would be a good idea to check the condition of other components like bushes etc to see if they need replacement

Been looking at the Eibach Springs but i think 30min will be to much. . . . . Tein springs? How much and any idea how much it will drop the car? The Teins drop the car 17mm at the front and 14mm at the rear, We can supply them for £171, drop me a PM if I can help

If you are looking for a small drop Tein springs are a good idea, Eibach springs give more of a drop and are similarly popular. As long as your dampers are in good condition they will be fine.
