What pads are you planning on using Martin? Generally I follow the procedure you have mentioned but for the final run I wouldn't go for as as hard a braking session, try from 70 to 30 with more pressure than you did before then drive a few miles letting them cool completely before parking up.

We got the same product from BG Products about 18 months back in the workshop and had some really good success with it. We tried it on a number of cars including a 200,000 miles Focus Diesel and a V8 SL Merc both of which had a huge reduction in emissions and are still going strong now with no side effects notice. I also tried in on my girlfreinds old R reg Toyota Starlet which hadn't had a service for at least 30K and it made a big difference to the way it drove as it had been pretty sluggish before. We had carried out a service before the BG service and ran it for 1000 miles so had a good comparison to go on. Since we sold the workshop the new owners sell services using the machine regularly.

We can supply aftermarket Brembo replacements for normal road use they are £72 for the front and rear set. If you are looking for an upgrade then Hawk Performance Ceramics are a good choice and easy to live with day to day they are £165 for front and rear pad sets. Or if you want the next step up and plan on doing some track days Ferodo DS2500's at £185 for the front and rear set are a very popular choice. All in stock let me know if we can help further

We have just taken delivery of the Miltek Sport systems for 350Z. These systems are very popular, Miltek can't produce them fast enough with lead times of up to 6 weeks. We have them on the shelf @ £899 Inc Vat Kit includes- Rear silencer in Stainless steel, Center section and Y-pipe. Limited stocks first come first served

Shims were fitted to the OEM pads so if there is none there now they are a good idea. You also need to make sure everything is properly clean and moving freely, a lot of garages don't spend enough time doing this and noise starts to occur. If its an OEM spec pad you are running then you shouldn't get noise
