Ok.. i haven't turned mine off yet to scared.. its wild even with it on.. i got the car back in November so not in a hurry to experiment yet How can you accelerate like that without it on! i mean i go near the throttle at high revs and the backs saying "im gunna let go" i would imagine its like when topgear go to the states and they're dragging in the rain i think may is in the 458 italia and clarkson in the AMG SLR they just stand still haha!

Cool pics dude.. you got some guts getting a zed infront of the tree in the wet!! How did you manage to put any of it down? Do you use TC when accelerating hard like that? Iv not had mine long but I had a go ar launching it and it bogged down with TC on just wondered if it would help of hinder?

Dude, its over a 3 hr drive for me thats why im finishing work on Friday jumping in my car and driving to a hotel.. up fresh and full of tea and eggs on Sat morning then meet the convoy... talking of which,... ...Is there a convoy hehe.. Couple of years ago i had to leave my house at 2am to drive to meet some 206 owners, we where heading to Santa Pod but had to meet at a local tesco or Asda or something while a few other people met up and we all got our stand passes... Anyways it was awful because the clocks actually went back too so we lost an hr in bed

What time are we all meeting on the sat morning? Trying to book my hotels so I dont get caught out. Driving from Manchester is gunna suck so I want to be in the area for the convoy... were staying at Alveston in bristle coz its cheep as chips but still a little drive to castle comb.. and at the woodlow arms on sat night coz it looks swanky as anything and its near to Bath. so do you guys convoy in on sat together or we do our own thing.. gunna be ace showing up with 80 something sports cars!

cheers dude.. Reckon i can get that at Halfords? do i need white? Also, ive tried to get this chrome covering off my badge but only some has come off.. am i good to go with the primer if i scatch it up enough for the primer to key?

Just picked up on this thread and i havn't read it all but rather than start a fresh.. Im about to paint my engine cover... I have managed to remove the Nissan badge from the centre and i want to start priming it, i will rub down with paint thinners to remove oily residue first then sand then rub down again before painting with primer (Hopefully white) My question is... It gets hot under there and i have had bad experience with paint cracking on rocker covers.. Do i need to use high temp or some kind of special paint / primer to paint the engine cover?? i also intend to paint some other parts too. Cheers for any info, Matt

My car has heated wing mirrors.. didn't know that until this morning. its has auto folding and auto dipping too but didn't realise they where heated. is this standard?

I dont want to take it off.. I was having a 'heated debate' with family and friends which turned into a shouting match hehe. I've bought an aftermarket strut brace and they said quote "f&$@*g around with your car" is dangerous nissan fitted 'that' bar for a reason.. I was trying to convey that even if the bar wasn't there it would still be fine.. I think they're concerned I wont have fitted it properly or its there to stop the engine escaping if I crash or some wild crazy stuff like that haha. .. so my new bar is lovely but it's aluminum and there saying its not as strong. . Could twist bend or crack etc etc.. it was not a fun discussion. . I made the point that the new bar is a lot thicker but they're still not having it anyways, the damn things staying either way so nerh haha sorry for the confusion by the way

Right, simple question to settle a dispute. Will the nissan 350z be fine without a strut brace. will not break the car during normal use? the car wont break? Fall to peices? Explode? Its there purely for improved handling? Matt

Hi, Can anyone tell me what size the plenum spacers are? I've been informed its a mod not to be missed especially seeing as a polished one is on the cards. by that i mean first of all - are there more than one size and if so which one do i buy? and if there is only one size then how big is this? i ask the question because im worried about fitting one and my after market strut brace not fitting..over the top.. i guess i can measure from the top of the plenum to the underside of my brace and that should give me the answer once i know the spacer size but, what about the engine twisting under load?? will this reduce the already small clearance to 0 and cause major problems? Any info would be much appreciated as its got me worried now Matt
