  1. Makes me want to get a new camera Higher grade lenses would be a better purchase first I'd say. A friend has a lower spec'd camera than mine but when paired up with his ridiculous lens he gets fabulous photographs. I don't know much about the steady-cam's , will go and have a goosey at them now see how much they are. Could be a good little purchase for when I start using the camera more often. I know what you mean about 'loosing' cameras. My first venture into sports cams was a Wingman HD, stuck it on my mates mini and it popped off at around 40mph, never recorded sound after that. So to remedy this from happening to my GoPro I have a Fat Gheko uber suction mount, tethered to a back up suction mount as a fail-safe. Took it out only this morning for the first test run and all seems fine. We need to go for a drive haha!! we'll get some awesome shots gunna show me brother this mount it'll make him laugh but a great idea.. we used a bit of washing line
  2. yeah i've looked at them, if you have a Gopro i would recommend a light duty "fly cam" or "steady cam" from amazon, the results can be fantastic. i need a slightly more heavy duty one to support the weight of my dslr. it uses like a counter balance technology. i have the 'Drift' action camera it shoots 1080p hd but not the same league as the Go Pro. i actually lost a drift when out with my brother... we had it on the back of my car and he was following on his bike and when we stopped.. gone! oops. hoping to get some good driving footage when i go to Japfest in May... unfortunately its only round the corner from where everyone is meeting.
  3. yeah.. if you can afford the 50mm 1.2 go for that haha. red ring means pro! i want a camera slide next i think for video
  4. Yeah just keep shooting. . My gf hammers bird photos but you really need the 20k lense that doogy posted. I just set my camera to av (apature priority) I know its cheating but the camera works out the exposure and adjusts the shutter for me... all these thats I took I stepped the exposure down two stops. If you dont have a tripod I'd get one.. you wouldnt believe the awesome shots you can get even when its dark. ..waiting for someone to post that 'motul'graphic silver 350 that looks awesome now haha

I got told the same thing... fitted a JWT popcharger on chrismas day and i have to say the effects are subtle. you get a nice hiss when you hit the throttle at around 3K but the weather means its hard to get. i'll be paying close attention to this thread

  17. Hi all... again i know its probably been covered but im lazy... what's the best stuff to use on these doors and dash top, i don't like glossy finishes..so want a nice satin/matt even finish i tend to use 'Trim black' on the outside of my other cars and on the engine cover it brings back a really deep black shine but no good for interior. My big problem is that the door plastics are very rough so im finding it hard to get a nice even finish when cleaning.. maybe use a sponge? (im scared it will rip up and leave bits all in there though) some advice please i know your all dying to tell me what your using haha cheers
  18. Ok cheers for the info. Autoglym products are garbage and in my opinion for people who thing they know detailing or people who have been bought a kit and they still have it after 10 years and everythings probably gone off.. rant ovet. yeah I just used some leather cream that I stole from mums cupboard (think its for our sofa) but seats came up lovely and I did the steering wheel and I did my gator cover too and its come up a treat. Dont even know the thing is leather haha.. anyways im that happy I might put a couple of pictures on my ' build' thread. oh.. put wax on my carbon fibre interior. .. coz I can and its shiny as hell now * bing*
  19. The seats are in good condition but ive never had leather seats before so how do I keep em clean, slidy and in all round good condition?
  20. Haha cheers.. im allready a big fan of clean your car.. yes it is quite addictive.
  21. Shauld have put a before of the bay up... whats are these repeater bulbs? Next mod is my 25mm spacers (rear), then mainly engine stuff coz im pretty happy with the outside. Detail in the summer (good buff and polish with my rotary) fancy that plenum polishing to a mirror as well I think and I need some centre caps. Oh and want some hoses too
  22. That tec wax is good but isn't it synthetic? Yeah im after supper gloss finish
  23. C'mon and meet up some time.. keep an eye on the Northwest threads im putting some drives together in the new year and if you enjoy burning some fuel on a Sunday morning you should tag along.
  24. Wanted to tidy up my build thread so i could document the history of my ownership a little more and share the adventure with those who might be interested. Its been two years now since i bought it from Marzman back in November 2013 and I still remember exactly how it felt collecting my dream car! Marzman had a nice set of Volk GT-S wheels on the car amongst other modifications. I had printed pictures of the car to put on my wall at home but I'll never forget the first time i saw it in the flesh, It was back in the summer of 2013 and Chris was kind enough to show the car off to me and offer me advice. It was my first 350z-UK meeting and i was scared as hell but off i went! Parked up on his drive i couldn't miss the car, as i drove down the street counting house numbers i started smiling as it jumped out at me. In the evening summer sun the cars colour just looked stunning and as I stood next to it i absolutely couldn't ever believe i would own this (or any 350z) I had been to see a couple of standard UK spec cars and one "GT" Model but the experience hadn't been quite right. Well.. that was it. It had taken me half a second to make my mind up but i know there and then two things.... It had to be Blue and it had to be a Nismo! I spent the next 6 months working and saving as hard as i could, i couldn't sleep with excitement and on a Sunday morning just before Christmas of 2013 i made the trip with my dad down to Macclesfield from Bury to pick up my new car! The first stop was a local Shell at the end of the street to get some V power! I had been to this pump before every once in a while to "treat" my old car to some of the expensive stuff and i remember thinking i better get used to the expensive fuel bills. Getting out the car on the garage forecourt and filling up i noticed that nearly everyone was staring at it and i had to fight the smiles back. After the first top up all i wanted to do was go for a huge drive but i had to remember that it was winter, the sun was going down and the ground was wet. I didn't know what kind of an animal it would be like so i carefully drove it down the road carefully squeezing the throttle and laughing to myself at how surreal it all was. So by Christmas 2013 i got myself a JWT popcharger. It wasn't this first time the car had one of these puppies. One had previously been removed to increase horse power. I was still scared of full throttle at this point, My last car was a 65hp 206 so the car had more than enough grunt for me. The car as of March / April 2015.. Just got the Volks on and arches have been rolled
  25. Nice Zed! right.. lets get down to it.. what's the best wax for an Azure zed?? my last car was red and i used dodo juice bright colour products (and i like em ). i just bought one of those microfibre mits (the one with like loads of fingers) how do we rate these? also it sounds like were all using the same sponge on the body as we are on wheels
