  1. Mines at home ready to be installed later and updated overnight. I also have two free DLC's (torque and precision packs) plus a million free in game credits. Can't wait to buy a zed, lock the diff and start sliding around the new tracks. I've kept up with all the developments and improvements in the new game of which there are LOADS. Faster menu loading and track loading times, plus you can choose a different name to your PSN name if you want, which is a nice touch. It's an all new suspension and handling model thanks to work done in collaboration with KW and Yokohama. Plus there's a new smartphone app coming which uses your GPS to plot any road you've driven within a 20x20km square area that you'll then be able to load into the games Course Maker. Yeah that's right - "It was as if a million forza fan boys suddenly cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced." The manual here is worth a quick read... http://www.gran-turi.../gb/gt6/manual/ Add me (cyberfella on PSN) if you fancy hooking up online some time for a race / tandem drift.
  2. Mmm. Nobody does a Z like Nissan themselves. Full feature here... http://www.speedhunters.com/2013/12/enthusiasts-unite-the-nismo-festival-returns/#chapter-legendary-line-up
  3. Watch this and try not to cry. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0397313/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1 And for anyone wondering if he was a good guy or not, read this. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2518156/Paul-Walker-secretly-bought-Iraq-war-veteran-9-000-wedding-ring.html He was a huge Nissan fan. I will miss him on the screen. RIP to the pair of them. My heart bleeds for his parents and 15 year old daughter Meadow.
  4. I have one of these (see link below) still to fit after recently having my front bumper re-sprayed (excellent work done by Autotek in Cromford) and waiting for the paint to fully harden. http://www.hzaltezza...-fiber-lip.html It's carbon over FRP, then gloss finished, so it looks quite stunning (on the outside). I've furthermore plasti-dip sprayed the inside of the splitter to give it a slightly less harsh surface to ultimately offer up to my freshly painted bumper. My question is this? To call it a tight fit would be an understatement. Any fitting tips from anyone in the trade? Having spoken to HZALTEZZA on facebook, the trick is to use two people, start at the front centre, as low as possible, and work up, and clip the two sides around simultaneously. use tiger seal in the centre, and screw/bolt through the sides in the arches. if you dont use tiger seal, the underside of the splitter can be clipped to the undertray. thanks HZ!

    Arch Rolling

I'm looking to get my rear arches rolled up. I'm sure the new 10.5 Rota Grids are banging the lip in "extreme circumstances". I've emailed Adam at arch enemy who supposedly covers the Derby area.

    Lowering

Eibach springs are great - even better with the accompanying bilstein b8 dampers. highly recommended. be aware that lowering your car will give you too much negative camber. This is not a problem if its a track or infrequently driven car, but if its your daily, you may see tyre wear issues. A set of rear adjustable camber arms and toe bolts + a trip to the alignment centre will correct this though. camber adjustment on the front can still be achieved with oem components, although after market ones allowing for a greater range of adjustment do exist. My advice is talk to CS to discuss the best options according to your budget. They've been brilliant with my Z.
  7. A friend of mine recently asked me to send him some youtube videos URL's showing some drifting for him to show his kid. so i said just search for tanner foust doing mulholland drive, mad mike doing the crowne range and ryan tuerk's off season vid and some other search strings where its real world roads, beautiful scenery and some proper RWD tyre smoking action. then a bit later he said "it's ok, i've found ken block drifting around a city which is really cool cos its in a city and blokes in bear outfits helps too" at which point i simply wanted to kill myself.
  8. Really interesting thread. Thanks for taking the time to regularly update and share info/photos etc after you'd sorted the problem out. It's too easy to not bother once you've fixed the problem. Nice one mate.
  9. Just got a quote myself yesterday to get the front of mine sorted. Couple dents, peppered with small stone chips, the guy reckoned 7 hours labour to remove it and flat it all, then about 80 quids worth of paint. I'll update with photos once the works done. Bought a carbon fibre splitter off the bay of plenty to go on after too. Hopefully it'll look nice when all done. Will update mid November.
  10. Sorry Shire - missed yer posting on the forum. The tickets are now sold I'm afraid.
  11. Hi All. I had 2 tickets for JAE Now Sold. -Matt Bradley
  12. I'm going to JAE. Looking forward to it actually. Will hopefully say hi.
  13. Whiteline drop links now fitted and no squeaks, knocks or creaking. Just a lower, straighter, stiffer, flatter, grippier car. Thanks CS!
  14. Alignment is as essential after suspension modifications as remapping is after engine bay modifications. A friend of mine (and rally co-driver) once told me "suspension and brakes are worth an extra 100 BHP". Do it right people. The parts are no good unless they're set up properly. Talking of setting up properly, my own little programme of improvement is now complete (thanks to the lovely folks at CS). Car is an absolute missile now. Love it. Details in my signature.
  15. There is only one game. Gran Turismo 5. Add me on PSN (cyberfella) and I'll gift you a 350Z, lightly tuned for Drift. Then get yourself into the online lobby and join a drift room and practice your skills. Warning: Intense concentration required. I added some screenshots to the gallery from some online drift action, check em out http://www.350z-uk.com/gallery/image/760-suzuka-circuit-east-course-3/
