    She's back!

No really! I live in SE London but my in laws are in Shoreham by Sea. However we're hoping to move to Surrey so won't be miles away. I went there owing to recommendation and the fact that I'm happy to travel to get decent work done.
  7. Silver 350 on the M25, we parted ways as I went onto the M23. Gave you a little wave. Nismo'ed silver parked up in Gatwick with a V8 number plate.

    She's back!

My brother in law suggested them after his Evo was rear ended. He knows them personally (went to school / grew up in the same social circles) and did a fantastic job. They were very reasonable - the most expensive thing was the parts - the labour was actually very reasonable. The job was perfect, everything fits perfectly, a couple of bits need sorting, but minor cosmetic stuff. Paint job is perfect, and now I have a matching fuel cover! Showed it to a few friends who know their way around bodywork, and they were very impressed with the quality of the work and stated had I not told them they wouldn't have been able to tell it was fixed. Then again the damage was only cosmetic (fortunately).

  10. With Sabine and CH it will definitely turn more into a motoring show rather than an entertainment show. It'll be interesting to see what happens. I hate Evans personally find him irritating. DC has no personality either in my opinion. Either way I will be keen to see the refresh and see what happens. Won't stop me watching it, but I wonder if it will survive?
  11. Agreed. "Relatively unknown"???? Really? REALLY?
  12. Merry Christmas everyone. Though not a prolific poster as many, I love this place and lurk / read a lot. Have a great time and hope you all are well and happy over this time of the year. All the best. Will

    She's back!

As you may know a friend of mine decided to drive my Zed through a fence. After a bit of TLC and fortunately no chassis damage (only panel damage) she's back! :teeth: Impressed with the Nexus 5x
  17. Yeah it's a shame about the mass commercialisation of it, but at the same time, you can keep yourself away from the hype and if you do it makes it more enjoyable. However it's going to happen - people will buy into it, and spend the money. That doesn't mean we can't enjoy it and let ourselves fall away back to our childhood.
  18. Just had a full service/once over after getting my bodywork repaired. Sly's attention to detail is impeccable. He also throws in a few bits and pieces FOC which many other garages would milk you for. I trust Sly and his team implicitly and doubt I'll ever take my car elsewhere for any work on it. Top job as always guys thank you so much. Have a great Christmas (and thank you for the card!!).
  19. I think there will always be a line from those that have the nostalgia of the original 3 and those who have only been introduced to SW recently. This new set of films will set up a new generation of SW fans which is great really. I'm a bit of a SW geek, and have read many of the Expanded Universe books, that said whilst I didn't "love" the first 3, and whilst I found them quite cringey in places, and felt they were totally unnecessary, I'm still happy to have seen them. That said, the Force Awakens is a good start a new trilogy and the continuation of the journey/story. I wish they had extended the film by maybe another 20-30 mins (I know it was already long) but it felt rushed at times, and could have done with just expanding the plot and story a little more. I'm tempted to go and see it a 3rd time next week!
  20. Bravo Mr Abrams. Bravo. What a film. Brought me back to my childhood. It was cheesy at times, but I like it, it is just what it needed. I cannot wait for the next one. Had nuances of A New a Hope about it.
  21. Couldn't agree more. Sly is the only place I take my Zed for any work.
  22. Deads. Power cleans. Clean pulls. Farmers walks. Rows of all kinds. Weighted pull ups.
  23. One of my friends has one that he keeps in the car as he drives a lot for work (company rep). Seems worthwhile to me if you're a regular drinker. I personally don't really drink (other than special occasions) so it's never been something I've thought of having.
  24. Already buy meat online from various online butchers. I never buy meat from the supermarket as it is quite frankly rubbish. That said always interested in seeing competition so have replied to the poll accordingly. All the best!
