I assumed they would do an update ever year (in order to make lots of money if nothing else)

How was the car after alignment? Sorry for the late reply, I've only just seen this. To be honest, when it was being aligned it was pretty much bang on already, the only thing Sly did was change the camber on the rear wheels to improve tyre wear as it looked like they'd been tilted in a bit more than standard and was already showing some wear on the inner edge of the tyres. I didn't really notice any difference. The brakes however are lovely now they're bedded in
