Go for HKS, they're funky and green.

I've went with HKS panel filters on both my zeds, at higher RPM there is a slight sound increase. This however, may just be the sound difference between a dirty vs new filter.

It's a little odd that it's not GT spec? You'd think on the Nismo models you'd get all the toys or is it to save weight?

It's a good idea to lightly spray them with some quick detailer before you get to work. It helps prevent the polish drying out. Some water should also be fine(once it's clean etc).

In Ireland we only have regular unleaded but it contains 6.383% ethanol. None of the Zeds here have gone bang yet so don't be worrying

Dodo Juice seems to have a huge following on here. Is it the case that people on here haven't tried many other waxes? My favourite "value" waxes are: R222 for summer(amazing finish) Collinite 915 for winter(very good durability) Also the Sonax products are incredible for the time they take to apply. Sonax Xtreme Brilliant Shine Detailer has absolutely stunning shine and hydrophobic properties.

Doing it yourself requires patience. Once you get the hang of it you've acquired a proper a skill though and can do all your other cars for years to come!

Dealers really don't care about mixed tyres. I tried to educate the dealer I bought my current 350z off and he looked at me like I was a nutjob.

I average 24 MPG with a mix of backroads and some small sections of motorway. I've seen 28 MPG driving like a granny though, don't expect to see anything like an average of 30 MPG driving the car normally.
