"Dad when u had my car is there a chance you may have knocked the front bumper" yeah I think i did...... arghhhhhhhhh now back off to bodyshop for another re-spray, not even fitted my front reg plate to it yet and my zunsport grill doesn't fit not a great week

  4. Lol honest it looks just like any other gunmetal zed
  5. So zed is on the road for first time this year and after de-badge, front lip, nismo v1 spoiler, dipped console and about a 6 hour detail I decided to use it this week for work and although I got a lot of "nice car" two different ppl thought I was driving a porsche... Does these two cars really look alike to the average numpty? I guess most would like that but I was actually offended all I could think was "my car is japansse" lol
  6. Mines a late 2004, got it last year with 39k just over 41k now, previous owner had it from almost new kept in garage all year round and only drove now and then. I was also concerned like you but focused on condition and it was mint for age. You actually have a great car on your hands, just give it a good going over and a decent test drive before you decide.
  7. What a tool!!! Good on ya. Not much fun on the roads these days driving even in the zed and muppets like this just make life on the roads even worse, I wont make any friends saying this but driving like that you can only expect him to wrap it around a lamp post or wall before long, lets just hope if he does he only injures himself and not some other poor sole on the roads... I had a similar situation about 12 years ago, chav in 306 up my ass, acting like a d@@k, overtook me on a dark country lane " i knew the roads, but i dont think he did" anyway blind bend came out of nowhere and his hit a high kerb and lamp post and rolled the car across the other side of the road hitting the side of a house, funny thing was that he didnt have a seat belt on and was actually thrown clear out of the car. I remember stopping and getting out to help and was shocked when the lump of car was empty only to see the chav stumble out the bushes... Apart from totalling his car he didnt do any damage to himself "shame really" as the house in question had so much structural damage i remember seeing them over a period of almost 6 months rebuild half the house all because of some Kn@b h@@d. Anyway rant over and good on ya for sharing!!!
  8. looking great !!! took my rear lip off at the weekend ready to fit my nismo spoiler and mine looks just like your the foam tape left behind is a pain, what you use to remove it?
  9. go pro all the way, got a 3+ black and although i have not used it on the track i have used it everywhere else, the quality is 2nd to none and you can use it for so much more, the underwater quality is also very good. For me i wanted to get something that was an amazing piece of kit that wouldnt go out of date in the blink of an eye, yeah they bring out new version each year but i have a friend who is still using his hero2 as he does a lot of snowboarding and its still going very strong and giving him great results ;0
  10. Back in Jan this year i got a front lip from tarmac and nismo v1 spoiler from another member on here and since then been waiting an age to get them painted and fitted on the zed, was using a family friend so have been waiting for them to find time to get my done in their busy garage. Anyway after much waiting i have them back and i think they have done a great job fixing the front lip to the bumper, i mean the fit and seam is perfect you wouldn't think it was a 2nd piece, anyway thought i would share. The real kicker is that i am away for a couple weeks now with work so wont get to fit her till i get back in June Just to get my zunsports grill, small front reg plate and i am set

  18. OMG.... Use it for the first time today, was thick like shaving foam and went everywhere was like a kid, lovely stuff. Only downside, it was on the juke as zed still being worked on Was all over my neighbours garage has to wash it down
  19. Here is a link to that colour code should let you see the shade. http://ralcolor.net/ral-7016-anthracite-grey.php
  20. Hey. I just had mine done in that colour the powder coated gave me a code from the RAL colour chart it was RAL7016 it's a German colour code and apparently "his words not mine" that code is the same colour as the one Audi use... No clue if that's right but I do love how my wheels came out, I used the code to paint match my centre caps and they came out great
  21. My zed is 2nd car and do less than 4k miles a year and wouldn't let anyone near, my poor dad is still after a go and I have had it a year in June
  22. Would it not be cheaper, quick "if you can" to pay the £70 excess and get it replaced on insurance?
