  1. Yeah that's the one and it seems to have fallen in love with me, was on my back home tonight from train station and every time I came to lights BANG it's around my neck. I would get a cover divider thing but the wife is after me so sort a kinda bed and clip so our little dog can go in the back but be clipped in so she doesn't move. It's only a tiny yorkie. Not sure it's the right thing to do but gonna have a go. Mean while the carpet makes out with me every time I break. Don't break too hard, well I don't think I do.
  2. Didn't realise there was such a nismo divide...
  3. Thought that. maybe from previous owner but could only find a pair of scabby knickers so the search continues.
  4. Despite an aircon bomb mine has developed a musty pissy smell for the first few mins then when aircon kicks in its fine. Smell doing my head in but gonna bomb it again
  5. thanks just seen that now after your suggested, actually may have found one from a different member already primed and painted but will keep that in mind. thanks again
  6. Hi Guys, Firstly stolen the pic from another member "sorry" however, as in the image below all of mine itsnt lighting up, when i got the car i noticed that when to moved from recirculate to take from outside using the middle dial button the orange light would flick between each other now only one will light up also some of the positions on the dials dont light up... I am thinking of doing the below mod with blue leds but is this a common issue with blow lights on this controller?
  7. I know the smell goes away with the AC on but may be worth trying one of these to fully clean out the vent and what not however cabin/pollen filter change could be a good start. I was actually going to post today asking where the polling filter is located "been in the passenger foot well of all my other nissans" but couldn't find it there on the zed... http://reviews.halfo...335/reviews.htm Any ideas? bet its on driver side?
  8. Got one on ebay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Nissan-350z-parcel-shelf-boot-cover-gduk-spare-parts-/161044852849?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item257f057071
  9. Ok, I have had enough of the sh@t paper light carpet in the boot of the zed flying forward and trying to hug me every time i break or take a corner. Its made worst when my laptop is in the boot ;( I am sure i have seen hard liner for the boot but struggling to find them now, can anyone confirm there proper name and where to get one from other than nissan? Regards
  10. Hi, This should answer all your questions http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/19175-fitting-the-nismo-v1-rear-spoiler-lots-of-pics/ Regards
  11. Sweet, checkout that sound, like a gurgle of an angry wasp in a jar
  12. Guess she was right then Well the badge was cheaper than body kit, so badge first kit 2nd. I actually like the nismo badges but appreciate its a taste thing. Most likely will gain the body kit in stages as I source the kit in bits and bobs. Have some gratis body shop time in September
  13. I know ppl have different views but... It's always worked for me. I had a Primera many moons ago had it from new, I would clean and treat every winter I had the car for 6 years before I got rid and all the underneath was rust free the only rust I did have was the exhaust lol Used it on all my cars, was one year I couldn't get hold of it so used a similar Schultz stuff which I was happy with
  14. This is the stuff: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Hammerite-Waxoyl-Wax-Oil-Clear-5-ltr-/300570449358 Not that you should put it on your exhaust for obvious reasons however smells bloody lovely then the overspray burns off after first application
  15. Dont take the pi@@ "Type R" To be honest i am actually in the process of trying to source a nismo body kit so it will come in time Out of interest what is the difference between a normal GT zed and a Nismo zed, is it just body kit and tunned slightly different?
  16. I am no expert "others on here are" but i would say that is very normal, dont forget your car is what... 7 years old its gonna have rust on it but what you have is in my opinion to be expected. When you can pull a bit off and poke your finger through it ... Thats when you worry Before every winter i norm all cover the bodywork of my cars in waxoil which gives it protection, less so if its already rusted to f@@k but i personally have always used it and found it helpful in the prevention of rust getting worst.
  17. Well, at least thats what the wife keeps telling me... I have a Nismo trapped inside the body of a GT i am sure of it...lol I am sure i am not the only one "Please tell me i am not" who likes to add Nismo badges to their car, dont get me wrong i dont think i have gone over the top (One in grilll, one on rear bumper, nismo valve caps and nismo car mats) Anyway I attempted to sneak a small purchase past the wife, got a chrome nismo badge for the rear of the zed had it fitted for all of an hour before i got: "Whats that red spot on your car..." no matter how much i tried she knew it was new... Then proceed to tell me how other zed owners would laugh at me because i am trying to make my zed look like a nismo version... To be honest i was actually impressed she knew such a thing existed however you are all laughing at me apparently... Tell me i am not alone
  18. Welcome to the forum, Do you have some pictures for us to comment, I have a 54 plate and it doesn't sound as bad as yours however could it just be surface rust or can you proper poke a finger through it
  19. Hi guys, After a nismo rear spoiler for my 54 GT zed. Thanks Stephen
