I believe it's the same rating battery however you all have a valid point I started it and left her running for 20mins that's all no lights or air con but I guess that would drain more than it would put in it will put a booster on it to get is started and take her on a run on a dry day

Hi all Looking at getting a bumper from RT whilst they have a sale, really like the v2nismo bumper but no headlight washer jets. Has anyone had them installed in a v2 I have seen it done on the v1s but not the v2s. Any help welcome

No the alarm isn't going off just not enough juice to start the battery about 10-11volts

Hi all, Replaced my OEM battery a few months back with a new one on my 54Z and it worked much better than than 8 year old i had on it previously however with the bad weather i have my Z in storage "i know kills me to keep her locked away" anyway was starting it every weekend but I left her for 3 weeks with me being away and the battery was dead. I have left other cars for this long and they have been fine, is it the battery or would you say leaving her standing for 3 weeks in the cold, i should expect it to not start? My garage doest have a power supply otherwise i would have a trickle charger on her over the winter. Thanks?

Hi all, So I moved the zed out the garage today and noticed my reverse camer is dodgy. When the camera comes on all I see is white on screen with the reverse guide lines, the image for the lines is sent from the camera so I know the head unit is getting a single from the camera but the actuall camera image is just white. Any ideas?

Great guide but as i still have warranty i am going to ring in the morning and see if i can get it fitted in to be sorted, dont mind doing it myself but if i can would rather the nissan dealer sort it.. I wonder if they will cover it

Hi all, I have seen a fix on the forums for a dodgy fuel gauge but i wanted to check if what i have is the same issue and if so do you think i would get it sorted on warranty? I first noticed the issue when i filled the car but the fuel gauge would only show just under the Full line as shown here, i then noticed that the needle would drop a fair bit very quickly. I decided to leave it until the fuel light came on and noticed that i was driving around on "almost empty" for a while before the light came on: Here is what its showing after just 104 miles: My MPG and DTE seems to be reporting a normal figure, My MPG is about 27 and DTE is reporting about 250 miles left which with 104 already done is about right for me. Is this the same issue other have had, is it easy/cheap to fix or do i have a different issue all together? Thanks Stephen

If he's getting a QQ he is paying a supplement, regardless of spec. It doesn't cost anyone anymore in tax pounds over if he had a fiesta. The award is the same, the bill is the same. Why does the car type matter if the cost is the same to John Q Taxpayer. If disability is so cushy just wander in the traffic, it comes with a discounted heated seat so it's well worth it. Someone please say they're planning on becoming disabled for the awesome perks, just one, pleeeease. Did I say disability was cushy? "NO" did I say I want to be on disability "NO" The point I am making is that no matter how much it costs the OP has a valid point, if you need a mobility car then you should get something that costs rock bottom and gets you from A to B resulting is the least cost to tax payers. If you get a mobility car and select something like a top spec qashqai it doesn't cost you anything other than a one off advanced payment of something like 500 quid then your good to go.

I almost got myself banned from another car forum for raising a the very same topic however that was on a qashqai forum of which most drivers/members where on mobility. My grandad had a mobility car 15years ago was a small nova that got him from A to B, it did what it was meant to do a true example of what a pmobility car should be like. My point on the qashqai forum was that if you wanted and needed a qashqai then you should get the basic model and one fella was arguing that he needed the top model for his back "heated seats" what a pile of crap a mobility car should get you around from one point to another, why should tax payers be covering the cost of certain people driving around in luxury when most ppl could never afford hese cars offered on mobility. We should have choice..... Apparently it's against their human rights to not allow them to select the car they want, ok I can maybe accept that but as the OP said give them a very small selection of basic models and when covering the cost of tax, band A is covered anything else you pay yourself!!! When I bought my last qashqai I was in the dealers sat next to the mobility sales man, he was with a customer who was haggling a mobility deal to get car mats, mud flaps, free fuel. I was like " what the f@@k" felt like going over and saying something.... Rant over now.... Well until someone comes along and tries to argue I am talking out my a$$

Hi all, I currently have a Alpine iXA-W407BT in my zed but the other half hates it and to be honest it is a pain in the a$$ trying to scroll though the 100's of tracks on the USb drive with only a touch screen however i do love the fact that it have a full size screen. Anyway i am looking to replace with something that can offer me the below features, i dont have a budget however i dont want to spend over 1k and the cheaper the better. MUST HAVE Built-in Bluetooth - works well with iphone Large touch screen usb connectivity with mp3 playback video file format support for playback ability to use a custom background or startup image reverse camera hookup, ideally be able to view camera on demand maybe dual camera input steering wheel control link up NICE TO HAVE DAB SatNav iphone mirror "cough" a spiny knob to quickly scroll though lists. DONT NEED CD Player Essentially something better than what i have, So what kit are you guys running that you like or what suggestions do you have... Thanks

Ok, so I used an AC OMB on my zed when I got it back in June but noticed that it still had a smell so I used a 2nd one and still I have a smell. Never in all my life has a car taken more than one bomb to keep it smelling clean. Long story short I think it's the blowers itself as the smell only occurs in the first 2mins when I start the car as soon as the AC kicks in the smell is gone "my AC is always on, never goes off" So the other day after driving for 30mins "smell free" I shut off the AC to see what would happen and without fail the smell came back, AC on smell goes away, off and it comes back. There must be something within the system causing this rank smell but its not the AC. Any ideas where the smell could be coming from?
