  1. Not sure it's the CAR that you want to scare away
  2. Apparently birds like to crap on nice clean cars because they mistake the reflections for water, and like to relieve themselves over water. Not sure exactly how true that is. I would be tempted to trim the bush back too.
  3. I think this looks great As has been suggested above, a completely illuminated panel might be worth trying. Have a look at this link. It can be cut to the size and shape that you want. Check out the sellers other items too. Nothing at all to do with me, but some cool stuff there. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/EL-Panel-7cm-X-11cm-9-99-Thin-A7-Sheet-of-Glowing-Tron-Neon-Strip-/161284253856?pt=Adult_Fancy_Dress_UK&var=&hash=item258d4a68a0
  4. I took delivery of a South African import years ago. We got married and now have 3 kids
  5. Nice car Did you watch the restoration of a Mexico last week on TV?
  6. Started reading this thread 2 hours ago What an awesome transformation. Look forward to seeing each update Top work!
  7. Wow, that's a lot of birds I've just been watching collared doves building a nest in conifers, blackbirds nesting in hazelnut tree, goldfinches on feeders, bluetits nesting in box on house, and sparrows and starlings on feeder. We had 22 goldfinches on the one feeder once. Haven't seen that many since.
  8. Just out of interest, are there any mobile mechanics on here? On another car forum I'm a member of, we have a couple of mobile mechanics, who will come to you (at cost), to do jobs like clutches, head gaskets etc. Far cheaper than dealer prices.
  9. Welcome Faye. Nice looking car you have there
  10. Because it hasn't hit the rev limiter yet, that's why
  11. It doesn't state a price in the opening post! Oh sorry wrong section Lovely looking and a worthy winner
  12. Oh how this thread has brought me the best laugh of the day You lot are all meanies, and I hope the OP is doing some research now. I especially hope he's researching the bit that says everybody is a P-taker on here, then he'll fit in better Carry on lads :D
  13. Hi. I'm just up the road from you guys, in Huntingdon. Hopefully getting my zed in the next few weeks
  14. Thanks Dave. That's really put me off my dinner....yuk Throw her to the pigs.
  15. Nice one Open a photobucket account (free), load your photos into that, then copy the IMG code from the photo in there straight into your post on here
  16. Looks excellent Mark. Well done for getting through all the bad times at the start, and persevering Interested to see you used Keith at Wheel Genie for your powder coating. He's just down the road from me.
  17. Surprisingly easier than black though
  18. I do like the colour of this 370 http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201403282893163
  19. Because they are money grabbing so and so's. I have never made a claim in over 20 years of driving, yet some younger members on here have had quotes cheaper than mine.
  20. Very nice
  21. Just found these 2 photos
  22. Thanks. Just noticed you're from Brechfa Forest. We have holidayed there the past 2 years. Excellent mountain biking terrain Are you here again this year? You're welcome to call in anytime. The Black Lion in Abergorlech is my local...best food imo for miles around Not sure yet. We're hoping to. I was in the Black Lion with my brother in law last august after coming down the Gorlech trail. We were covered in mud, so bought drinks and sat in the garden opposite. We stayed in Brechfa Forest Barns. Do you know Nicki and Jason from the barns?
  23. Wow...this looks like a mammoth but fantastic project. Fair play to you. Can't wait to see more
  24. Just did a price comparison as I haven't bought my zed yet. £272 fully comp. 44 with 20 years no claims protected, fully comp. Wheel spacers and lowered = £680 fully comp. Can't believe how much extra it is
  25. Roughly how much does 4 wheel alignment cost? £100? Just seen, about £120
