Nice machine is the radio reception as good as the standard long aerial? Also, what is the correct colour name of your exterior? It is silver, but is also has a hint of grey.

It's driving me nuts. Did a half track day today in Mondello park today. Plenty of hard cornering. When the session was over I noticed a creaking noise from the drivers side rear suspension- like the suspension spring. I didn't notice it there before the track day and its fairly loud. I can make the creaking noise by pushing down on the rear arch with my hand- it's fairly sensitive. Its noticeable at low speeds when turning sharp. Sitting in and getting out of the can also cause the noise. I've had the wheel off and lubed a few moving parts including the base of the spring but no success. Any ideas what this could be?

Also check the cooling fans. Let the car idle for as long as possible- the fans should kick once the temp reaches the halfway mark and over. If they don't it's probably the contacts on the motors that are faulty due to carbon build up. Motors are about £200 each. Beau has a thread on here- DIY taking them out and refurbing them. On the clutch issue- if the pedal feels fairly stiff then it's likely it's pretty worn. Get the car up to about 40-50 mph and put her into 5th / 6th gear. Plant your foot on the accelerator pedal and see if the revs fly up more than your actual acceleration- then you've got slippage.

Because of the greedy clowns that run this country!! It has seriously crossed my mind a few about moving to the UK because of this..

Rich- I was in Windsor Nissan and they had an '08 for sale a while back. Was registered June- so tax was €1,809. If it was registered a month later it was something like €2,200. Ouch

Very nice photos! I was at a car event myself last Sunday and they had that Subaru BRZ there. Basically the same car as the GT86!

Due to the cost to tax a 3.5L here in Republic of Ireland (€1,809 for the year- about £1,500) you don't see too many Zeds around. I spotted a silver JDM on UK/NI plates in Castleknock earlier today, I waved but got no response On my way into work I often see a 2005 Coupe (Black) and a 2008 convertible (also in Black) driving in on the old Cabra road / Prussia Street.

Saw this crash on the news earlier. That driver is a complete clown.

A guy in a petrol station asked me if my Zed had seats in the back I told him to go out and have a look and of course once he saw the rear strut brace that's when the penny dropped!

Lucky boy Glad it was sorted without lashing a deep dent on your wallet.

Did a route up on the motorway back another silver 350z 2007 appeared out of nowhere in my rearview mirror he overtook me and headed into the MOT centre... hope it passed.

The car did stand up pretty well given the severity of the crash. (especially the roof). The other bmw in front is also pushing it. You can see him running wide one of the first corners... That's what happens when you run out of road (and talent)..

Are Porsche back racing in the LM series this year? Watched the two 'Truth in 24' documentaries a couple of months back. Worth a watch for anybody who hasn't seen them.
