It's more a question of " will you be happy with a potential replica for £450? " Or would you rather spend more and have peace of mind knowing its genuine? If I could hear that exact exhaust in person or on a few good quality videos then maybe I would buy it but just looking at pictures isn't enough for me. I haven't had any astras giving it beans.. But my mate said he solidly pulled from one in his Integra when it was practically stock.. and our cars were neck and neck when we had a little run out of curiosity Even if they were faster with an upgraded turbo I wouldn't care.. its a fecking astra for crying out loud !? Rubbish Chassis handles like a frozen turd and looks a bit tacky on the inside. Not in the same class as a Zed imo

Swear Sony already has this on there experia Z2 no? Don't see quite what all the rave is about. Just more to go wrong and get damaged at work imo. Each to their own though

Theres a primary school in my road so I know the feeling exactly Lovely feeling when you see little hobbits staring in awe at your pride and joy. I also get regular looks when driving around and people have said many times " thats the car out of fast and furious isn't it? " Gingers clearly get the most attention

So decided to wash the toys today as it was nice weather and I didnt really have anything else to do. Towards the end of me finishing up washing the Zed.. a polite 40 year old lady walking her dog said .. " you're really good to that motor .. " with the cheekiest smile on her face. Really has cheered me up this evening.. and I must say it made her very attractive and must have shaved 10 years off just from saying that Just wanted to share with you chaps and ladys

That's kind of my point. I will literally be pootling everywhere barely stretching the Zeds legs, not getting the most out of that car. Why is this so bad ? Its not like you're going to have to " poot " around for 5 months solid of the year. If you are purely considering going from a 370 to the 86 cos of a few track days I think you're bonkers. Have you done some track days in your 370 yet ? If you were saying that you wanted to trade down from a daily driver stand point I'd understand a bit more - do think that was mentioned but the vibe the thread is giving off is its mainly track maintenance. Ask yourself honestly...how phased by power are you? Dont get reeled in by reviews and others complaining its " underpowered " , as like others have mentioned that was never its forte'. I can honestly see the appeal if im honest if its for a mix of the two reasons but ultimately do what will make YOU happy. Everyone will have different opinions. Go take a couple for a test drive and try to ask some owners for the 86. I have a huge soft spot for the 86 and I know I'd be happy if I went from my 350 to 86 but I havn't won the lottery.. and its probably very different from a 70 -> 86. Just my two cents dont want you to feel like im beating on you or anything. Just write down or think about why you would p/x and what you would gain / lose. Best of luck
