Ah mate that is fairly rotten ! Beer sounded like the best way to end a day like that My exhaust might be blowing and my blower randomly turns on due to the white cable cord being slightly damaged..and to top it off noticed the tiniest tiniest little ding in my passenger door.. its so small its fecking hard to see but still wound me up.. might have been there since ownership tbh ! You'll get it sorted though

As title suggests. Sometimes my blower randomly goes mad and turns on full whack when its set to off? Any idea? Usualy car off and on fixes it

I usually keep my lid on while filling up and have never been told to take it off. Don't want to get into arguments but mentioning burkhas is a fair point. Cant be one rule for one and a diff one for someone else. They both hide identity. Just my 2 cents

Well this just kind of went back and forwards. I'd still rather not rev my car knowing what I know now due to the responses from our forum members. No harm in sensible driving for 15 minutes after all. The car has plenty of useable power up to 3k imo having good amounts of torque. Some people though eh... what kind of insensitive plank starts revving a friends car?

Thanks for the clarification , glad I had words with the guy. Think he's a complete tool now tbh.. prattles on about how he knows about cars and goes and does that. Wasn't to redline only around 4-5k but not the point at all. Thanks for the all the messages chaps ! Never letting anyone near my car again

So I was at work the other day and was having a moan to a friend about another friend that tried to rev my car from cold . I snapped at him and he looked fairly embarrassed and he should know better as he drives a performance car. Anyway while I was having my little rant , to my surprise the friend I was moaning to turned round and said revving a NA engine from cold won't do anything.. It's only FI cars that will suffer Can someone please clarify this? Was I being a big lairy ape throwing the toys out of the pram or is my friend very misinformed?

Just read the whole thread on the GTR. Couldn't believe how much you've had to spend to get it repaired. If its any conciliation friends of friends know him ( i've never met him ), and I was told he had a yellow Ferrari and someone smashed it up .Clearly he is a complete rogue doing bodge jobs. I never planned on getting my car wrapped but a lot of people will be glad for the heads up

Thanks Matt Was going to swing him a PM but decided to make a thread as its more out of curiosity due to funds at the mo. It is how I want my Zed to look in the future Looks like she is staying put after all. Had a look on Tarmacs website and the front bumper and skirts are around 2.1k so this is going to get very expensive Cheers for the response though mate

In short. As a rider and car driver. Its both their fault. You always have to be prepared if you speed all bikers know this. He got too throttle happy and wasn't riding defensive or even thinking about turnings and junctions. BUT that car driver seriously has the downs... Ive watched the clip just before the accident a good few times now and he/she should have been able to judge the bikes speed. I think some sort of prosecution is fair and from a legal standpoint the car is to blame.

So I went to shropshire last weekend to visit a friend. Turned out to be a complete waste of time and money but just to add injury to insult.. I tried to get down his driveway which is sloped.. in a lowered Zed Now it scraped pretty badly. Like it got stuck.. then I decided I'd go forward to see if I could get over. Been driving around fairly worried wondering how bad the damage is and last night I drove through a slight echo wall area and it sounds like there is a very very small minor blow. What would it sound like? it is so so small im not sure if its just in my head as im worried? I would jack the car up but not sure what im looking for? Also if I did damage the zorst where would it be ? Cheers guys
