Welcome. My Ex has our old Hyundai Coupe s111 2 Litre, and after driving the Zed you'll never be able to drive the Hyundai again due to the lack of power and feel compared to the Zed. The Hyundai feels lighter on all the pedals and gear changes as if it's being done for you and the clutch bites in a totally different position I thought it was a great car to drive before I got the Zed but now when we meet up I let her do all the driving unless we're in the Zed.

I suffer from OLD AGE being 51 but my ZED is getting me over this problem I've now managed to get it reduced to just a mid life crisis

Junction 17's not the only one here in Peterborough to avoid. Being local I have the advantage of word of mouth but I found out about our local car world when I picked up the hyundai S111 I had before the Zed full service and new MOT yet it only had 10 psi in the tyres instead of 32 makes you wonder what was actually done, and how all these cowboys stay in business.

I went t Nissan Peterborough once when I first got my Zed and their attitude to me made me walk out before I smacked someone, bet it would have been different if I'd gone in with a wad of cash and said give me that new car over there, that's what made me look around and find Cougar stores who do all my work now. Willing to go out of their way to help and offer free advice like all the traders I've seen on here.

Just you wait for them to ruin it like they have other roads up there I've been on by putting up average speed cameras. Used to have a fun drive to Loch Ness until last year when they put them up.

I've done Peterborough to Dundee average 38 MPG but to and from work on the recent cold winter mornings it's been as low as 11 MPG average. Just look for the petrol tanker in your rear view mirror. FUEL = FUN / ZED = MID LIFE CRISIS FOR ME

I have the cobra fitted sound nice only really gets loud if you boot the revs, try to find someone who lives near you with one fitted to give you a better idea.

Thanks for the reply Ekona I've just had delivered some DODO Juice stuff ( Supernatural shampoo/Supernatural Micro Prime Polish and Supernatural Wax ) so should get a good shine and protection after giving this a try seems to be given the thumbs up on most sites I check. I normally snow foam/shampoo/polish then wax if the rain stays away long enough.

Hi all any ideas or thoughts welcome. I have a MeguiarsG220v2 polisher and was wondering if there are any other makes of polishing pads or sheep's wool pads that would fit it so that I can get a really good buff after waxing?

Mine;s a 54 plate Steve so after reading the last posts I guess I now know why I have to annoy people by forgetting to unlock the passenger side

Just tried again and nope Steve nothing the only flashing I get is when I lock/unlock holding both buttons for any amount of time and nothing happens? Can only unlock passenger side if I press the button twice within a couple of seconds otherwise only the drivers side unlocks.Funny how a lot of UK spec Zeds have different things that work from one another?

Just tried this on my zed and no change I still have to press the button twice within a time limit to unlock both doors?

I changed to super years ago when I had my bike tuned and have stuck with it for both my Zed and all my bikes since as they run better / cleaner / and I seem to get more miles to the gallon so that in itself pays for the extra few pence a litre. A pint of beer in the pub costs a lot more a litre but people don't begrudge paying extra for that.

Even though I lost my dad to a massive stroke a few years ago he had a Triple by-pass in his 60's and was back at home decorating 2 weeks later and back to work after a couple of months.My rule of thumb now is always be with them as you never know how long they'll be around or what will happen during the operation also the moral support of you being there could be just what he needs my dad smoked all his life right up until the day he died which was in his 70's. YOU CAN REPLACE YOUR JOB BUT YOU CAN'T REPLACE YOUR FAMILY. Good luck and best wishes.
