Is it like a slight wobble/ vibration that comes and goes at a certain speed? If so I had the same after some repair work and a new wheel at the rear which had been balanced etc. I was worried something else had been damaged but it turned out that the new wheel was out by about 20 grammes. Once it was re-balanced it was fine

The wipers are really easy to take off and on, I did mine a month or two ago. Take cover off from wiper nut remove nut release tension from wiper, (push down on sprung joint or pull up from windscreen) and remove from spline reverse to install

Just an update, it's the window bonding, the glass hasn't been primed properly at some point so was loose, unfortunately this has caused some rust at the top of the window frame, so my car is sat outside the house with no windscreen all the rust has been removed and treated though and ready for some primer! Window guy is back tomorrow morning to refit!

Do they look like they have the same camber? if so surely it has to be the offsets?

There is a procedure in the service manual for checking the compression arm, but I would think you need a lift and a good pry bar. When I bought mine I took a chance as I knew it had the clunking noise.. Luckly for me it was the drop links. I have read that the compression arm noise is more of a loud 'thunk' than the drop links but people like Alex or Keyser would be able to confirm that. EDIT: also to check if its the drop links, remove one end from the roll bar and tie the links up with zip ties.. then go for a short slow drive over some bumps..if the noise has gone you have your answer

Also check for a clunking noise over speed bumps etc, this could be a few things I.e drop links ( about 90 quid a pair ) or compression arms ( £250ish a side! )

Zmanalex sells a repair kit for it and it looks a really easy fix, drive shaft out and replace cv joint iirc. Make sure it's got good tyres on, and also depending on mileage try and get one That has had the clutch replaced. These are the two expensive jobs that might catch you out ( tyres I know from experience!!)
