  1. Hi guys, I have had another look into this after getting my legs wet again today! The leak is high up underneath the dash somewhere, looking up from the footwell you can see a large metal cylindrical supporting pillar that looks to support the top of the steering column etc. The leak is coming from above this beam/pillar as there is slight rust on this beam and also kitchen roll is slightly damp after a downpour. is the only thing above this the window seal? or is there anywhere else anyone can think of that is a possible cause? Cheers in advance!
  2. Good work 14N, I was also "investigating" and for anyone wnating to know how its done, here is a guy in the US that has done the conversion http://my350z.com/forum/exterior-and-interior/510059-2-2-backseat-project-lookin-for-advice.html
  3. Just saw this posted on another forum I use http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201306177328845 It looks like this has back seats? is there a conversion you can do!?
  4. Get the error code first, at least then we can tell you what "probably" caused the fault. you can then decide on the best route to go down.
  5. Can you record the flash sequence on a mobile and upload it after doing the pedal dance? we will then be able to tell you the code
  6. Yours are really nice, a much better colour than the standard rays imo I was expecting something someway between yours and mine, however I must admit they are growing on me, and they look quite nice in sunlight, as they change colour slightly as you move around the car.
  7. We went with a very light coating of silver, as i wanted more of a metallic black, Im still unsure if they are too dark or not but they look really nice when (if!) the sun comes out

    dipped

I`m currently experimenting with door handle colours on a set of spare handles and have dipped them now about 6 times! Plasti-dip is witchcraft, really is amazing stuff but just not sure if I like the look of it as yet. Have a look at the "dipyourcar" channel on youtube, loads of advice and how-to`s
  9. It needs a new Offside side skirt or at least a repair, its got a hell of a scratch towards the rear wheel
  10. Did a wiper delete this evening, Just using a grommet at the moment so a little unsightly, but much better than with it on:) Is there anything I can take to get shut of early stage Zed-itits before it progresses?!
  11. They cost £265 in total, would have been a little cheaper but as shadow chrome uses two colours I had to pay the cost of the silver paint, this was a full strip down and refurb as some wheels were corroded quite badly with bubbling etc and also lots of curb rash, the finish is faultless and the service in general was excellent. His number is 07789 650474, Might be worth giving him a ring and asking him if he would have any trouble with your wheels
  12. Cheers guys, I cant wait to see them in the sun! The darker wheels make the car look so much more aggressive. He also fitted a new set of Falken 453`s and the difference these have made to the car is amazing (previous owner had some no brand ditch finders on) It really does feel like a different car
  13. Just picked my car up from Demon Wheels in Chorley, Paul did a great job and kept me informed through the whole process as I wasnt sure on which direction I wanted to go for colour. I honestly cant recommend them enough. The colour is a dark Shadow Chrome, to be honest I did think it was going to be a lighter colour, but I really need to see the wheels in some proper light before I make a final judgement as it was 7pm when I picked it up and the sky was fullof very dark clouds! here are the wheels with the base coat And after the silver over coat and here is a picture at dusk on the car Front on Just need to sort the center caps next when I have decided if they need to be a lighter shade or not
  14. Its really easy mate, I did mine a few months ago, do a search for a guide on here as im sure i found one.. Once its fitted you need to perform a reset procedure that resets the window stops etc, again its all detailed in the FAQ
  15. I think its the master cylinder, not sure if they can be refurbed or not. It might just need new fluid etc but im sure he will know for definite
  16. Looks really nice, Which splitter is it marty?
  17. So the drains look clear however There is some kind of bulkhead seal near the ABS Actuator which seems to get a huge amount of rain poured onto it. That will be my first suspect when I get the plastic cowl off etc this weekend! Its going to be a nightmare to reproduce, even after 5 hours of heavy rain the interior is dry!
  18. Cheers guys, Do you know where the drain hole is in relation to the wiper? under the wiper drive shaft? Many thanks
  19. Hi Everyone, I seem to have a small water leak somehwere, after a heavy rain spell, I get a 5-6 water drops from the underneath of the drivers side dashboard onto my legs, after feeling underneath the dash, I can feel a little water collected and the metal bracket near to the bonnet release is slightly rusted suggesting its been there for a while. This only happens when its rained so its not the aircon, Is this likely to be the windshield seal or are there any other areas that might be letting in water? Regards
  20. could the spring be incorrectly seated in the spring bucket? I wonder if the spring has rotated which would seat it incorrectly, or even one of the rubbers is missing at either end of the spring? are the lowered springs short enough to be loose when jacked up? It could even be the spring causing the clunk
  21. How low do you have to get to do this to other peoples property?? this kind of thing annoys me so much!
