  1. Morning everyone. My wife and I owned a Yellow GT4 a few years ago and stupidly sold it on. It was number 124, does anyone here have it. Hows it going and could you post some piccies. Thanks Simon and Yvonne
  2. Anyone selling a GT4-fancy another one.. Si
  3. Thanks for the tip, Payco - it's a stunner! Sadly, a little bit more than we're hoping to spend but does look a good 'un.
  4. Sun's shining, garage is empty... time has come to start the search for a replacement for our much loved yellow 350Z GT4 (sold 18 months ago and regretted ever since). Just wondering what's on offer at the moment out there? Must be a bit of a head-turner to match up to the last one!
  5. So you prefer the 350 over the 370. Interesting. We've talked about buying another GT4 or a really nice 350GT over a 370, but I'm pushing more for the later. Given there's not so many 70's around for test driving this will be a long hunt. We've got out eye on a couple down in Englandshire. S
  6. Thankfully her in doors is behind me on this, and she is the one who's getting rid of her car to hopefully assist with the purchase (phew), its worth more than mine, for sure.. So Auto - still out on the colour, im heading for the blue, but she wanted the GT4 and it had to be yellow, so i may not win this battle, but what ever the outcome we'll be back in a zed.. Ive missed playing in the 350.. I popped into the local Nissan dealer yesterday, who are also GTR dealers, they looked after our Juke and 350, they were complimentary on the 370, saying they never have issues, just like our old "4" but did say they were a bit more fun, where the 350 was a bit civilised.. Im sure 370 owners will be able to confirm if that quotes correct or not. It really doesnt matter, just looking forward to getting one now.. Fingers crossed. There's a black one close to me for sale, a private sale but we're more inclined to go via a garage for that extra piece of mind... Si
  7. Well, after selling our yellow GT4 back at New Year we've had a wee chat and now on the hunt for the right 370z. Yellow or White, I want blue one but we're still in discussions. Next - gearbox, I'm thinking Auto this time. So, our old GT4 was very reliable, I'm hoping a 370 will be just the same. What am I to look for. I know it has to have a full history and check for crash damage etc, what other things. Cheers Me n Her
  8. Fingers crossed the pass side is fine for the next week while.. But it is a pain in the rear end the motor issue.. Si
  9. Well, its taken me along time to get round to getting this done.. Tiz finally done.. New (second hand) drivers window motor fitted and working perfectly.. I gave it a clean out as there was alot of carbon within the motor from the brushes, so its all clean and working (fingers crossed) perfectly... I can now get in and out of my car park without having to open the door and wave my pass frantickly to get into the carpark.. Si
  10. Thanks. Ill have a lookie. Si
  11. Well I don't live in the country but there's lots of fields and hills close by.. 40 ain't too old but her indoors being a similar age defo helps being on the policy.. Even when she used to insure it with me on the policy it was always around 210/220 at most. We are with Admiral. I am trying that multi car policy where I got a couple of pound off. Oh and it's garaged, but then who's gonna wanna pinch a bright yellow 350z, apart from the colour criminals want more seats hence the reason scoobies are a little more expensive.. Hay Ho. It's the only positive to getting grey n bald Si (Now to fix the leccie window motor)
  12. Well the window has been playing silly beggars in the last few weeks.. I got the Nissan dealer to look at it when replacing a suspension arm, they've said it's the motor but at the money they're asking I've sourced a motor and am considering trying to fit one Saturday morning.. So How easy is it to do and because the window lowers and lifts on entering and exiting the car, is there anything I need to do or remember when attempting this.. Does the window need programmed for the drop n lift? I want an opening window in this nice weather Si Si
  13. I think there's a few errors http://www.pistonheads.com/news/default.asp?storyId=27940 But it's still a great car Si
  14. Well that's me decided to keep the yellow beastie for another year.. Insurance with the wife on £180 all in.. It pays to be old Si
  15. I managed to sell my old 390SE easily, probably because of the rarity value, my 400SE is just as rare. Hopefully I can sell this one too.. The wife's fighting me to keep the 350z, she just doesn't want it to go.. We will see... Si
