So replace it with this unit?

Are there any instructions on removing the hub? I don't have access to a press for the bearing, so I would need to take the whole unit out and take it to a garage to swap them over.

I don't have access to a ramp, but have twirled a few spinners in my time. How hard/easy is the job? Is there a guide anywhere?

I have started to notice a noise that sounds like its coming from the passenger rear wheel. It's less noticeable at low speeds, but I hear a low constant rumble at speed, that sounds almost like road/tyre noise. I don't hear it coming from any where else so think it may be a wheel bearing on its way out. How expensive is it to get a bearing replaced?

If you are thinking about losing the app radio anyway I'd sugest maybe doing that first and getting a simpler head unit with inputs for the tablet you wont need both right? and it will save you a few quid I'm sure over all I might take a look at installing the Nexus in the double din slot. There's a bit to consider, I enjoy listening to the radio and I have a rear camera.

I don't think there is Aux input on the Appradio 2, so I may try an RCA spltter and then use a mini Jack (3.5mm Stereo) to 2 x phono leads. to go from the Nexus to the car amp. I could play from either the nexus or Appradio and if the Nexus proves to be more usable, I can sell the Appradio.

Just bought a 32gb Nexus 7 ready to give this a go.

Where did you get the 350z wallpaper for the Nexus from?

Excellent write up. I have an Appradio and the sat nav on it is crap, so this would be ideal. Can you hear directions over the radio?

The recently discovered chicken spider that form colonies like meerkats. Sleep together, hunt together and have been appearing in pet shops when mistakenly imported by the pet trade. I used to to have about 32 different species when I was a bit of a spider nut. I only have the one now.

I look forward to seeing how it all goes together.

I have tried the method shown above, it takes a lot of practice to get it right. I gave up in the end because I just had to keep cleaning the film off due to poor results.

I'm a bit long in the tooth for iridium lenses and designer sunglasses, but I have been reading up on Serengeti's and Driverwear. has anyone worn them?

I have started driving early mornings and late evenings and have problems with winter sun glare, normal reactalite or transition lens glasses don't work through car window screens. What no prescription sunglasses do you wear and would you recommend them?

Mine only has 53k miles on the clock, so I suppose you might notice more of a difference.

I finally managed to get my car Terracleaned today at a garage called Car Make over in Wakefield Yorkshire. Mine was the first 350z he had dealt with, and he had to spend some time trying to get at the fuel hose from under the car. The actual cleaning process took about 30 mins. I was not sure what to expect, I didn't get clouds of smoke out the back, just an unusual smell from the exhaust. I was told that I should just be smelling clean air, but maybe having a sports cat changes that. Since having the process, I've noticed the car seems to rev a lot more easily, and the exhaust note seems slighty better. I haven't run any tests and I don't have a before and after emissions' print out, but the car certainly feels more responsive and livelier.

I am taking my car for a Terraclean tomorrow, and the garage says they will carry out a wheel alignment if it needs doing. Is there anything specific, I should ask or need to know? Do these cars require a laser alignment, like the Hunter?

I found this thread after searching for help with my 350z tram lining. I have spacers fitted and have checked the tyre pressure, I have 35 psi all round and the tyres are the same brand on all 4 corners. Do I get an alignment with the spacers on or do I have to take them off first? Is it just a standard 4 wheel alignment, or do I need a specialist garage?
