  1. There's only 2 of us going so if we don't get a convertible will probably go with just a regualr focus or something unless there's no reall difference in price. Alamo seem to be one of the better deals though! I'll have a look at them now, cheers bud! You can book with alamo through them, the cars are much better with alamo as they're newer. With the young driver package you're also insured up to the eyeballs so if you do have an incident you're fine
  2. Alamo want $30 a day for young drivers
  3. I've used these guys loads of times, they have a young driver package which means you don't need to pay the surcharge http://uscarhire.com/ They're a broker so you go through the big companies. I used them 3 times before I was 25
  4. If not, my father-in-law will probably take it
  5. I got a small generator from SGS as I have the same issue as you, only problem is that after an hour or so I have ringing ears
  6. come join, all you need is a road legal (ish!) car, a driving license and a helmet
  7. All I've seen today is people talking about this spring's apple watch?! Since watching apples seems to be all the rage currently, I thought we could share our pictures of apples! This is a toddler apple: Child: Adolescent: Adult: And finally here's all the sheep queueing up to get their new apples
  8. The fist ever round I got on TV! And in every single shot I was smashing into the barrels I hit those big blocks once or twice on my first weekend too, you did much better first time out than I did
  9. Awesome write up dude, sorry I couldn't attend too. Hopefully next time
  10. When I was looking at those seats I was actually too tall for them and the harness holes were too far below my shoulders to use it. I now have a Corbeau fixed back one. They seem to be the best for road and track use and are FIA approved too.
  11. I wouldn't recommend fitting them to the windows It should be fine as a lot of people have racing seats, just not with the head supports, without issues and the top is narrower than the shoulder area. Your peripheral vision will be gone though.
  12. That's my usual excuse ! I have a front Japanese replica plate for this year need to note to self to remove it as that may take some serious explaining! to be fair, that's probably actually slightly MORE believable than I have an identical tiny one, as hopefully no-one would be such a spoon as to try and run a fake japanese plate all the time
  13. I very rarely run with a small plate on the car, normally it's when I forget to put the full size back on after a show. That mini plate is literally the exact size to hide the holes where the normal plate is as I'm too cheap to pay to have them filled
  14. Give these guys a try too http://www.rivieraautobody.co.uk/
  15. You lot are so posh, I normally just use a random stick
  16. http://www.negative-camber.org/jam149/technical/alignment.html All a bit ghetto, but it does work
  17. Where are you based? Might be easier for people to recommend places to try
  18. I've seen Azure cars resprayed using the exact paint code as detailed by nissan at some really decent bodyshops and they come out with slight differences. I think RT performance might have had the same issue before hence why they're saying to blend? The blending is 100% necessary for a decent look as it's such a temperamental colour (Although a lovely one!). They resprayed Wasso's car and it looks lovely, if you do a search for Wasso and RT Performance the in progress pictures and finished job should come up
  19. I'm not saying you are, just letting you know the challenge I'd start trying to get rid of the dimples before the actual polishing
  20. I think abbey motorsport sell individual fans, I'm not sure if anyone else does though. The thing is, they're quite prone to the motor packing up, so it might just be worth replacing both fans at the same time whilst you have everything out
  21. I tried before, the problem is, because it's cast the surface isn't flat. I got the top beautifully shiny, but all of the dimples/lines/marks that I couldn't get to stayed horrible and it actually looked worse. Wasso smooths the surface out which gets rid of all the marks, which is why it looks so lovely.
