  1. Don't be jealous I try, but I just can't help it! If my MOT didn't expire on Friday I would offer to come too to make it a mini meet
  2. Use a big hammer! Hit everything with it
  3. Try removing the weight first, it will give you a few extra months life from the struts and is free
  4. I guess that slicks generate far more mechanical grip than aero will at those speeds. So with slicks you'd actually be creating drag with the spoiler and it would be detrimental? (It is very nice btw!)
  5. Wow, they're cool I like the Supra, it just looks nice lol
  6. You use the wing for rear down force to provide more grip. Ironically, the more grip the better in drifting. Grip means more speed, more angle, more smoke and far more control. When you accelerate from a small turn into a large one for example, you need grip to accelerate the car and not only to keep enough angle, but to stop the car from spinning out too. They also look totally awesome in my eyes
  7. No, it's a reflection of a window ledge. I can see why you thought that though, an HD PC screen gave me the answer
  8. Unfortunately stuff like this is pretty much not done in the UK on zeds. It's a shame, as if there was someone who made custom dials they would make a killing. There's a few people who have changed the LED's etc, but it wasn't a straight swap and required a lot of work.
  9. This bit would put me off, in his own add: that is more reliable for me and my career And as for posting links like that I think you'll be fine as you're clearly a potential buyer who's keen and is ensuring they get a good one
  10. http://www.z1auto.com/prodmore.asp?model=350z&cat=exterior&prodid=7126 I'd love one of these or the big country labs ones!
  11. You, StevoD, Hensh and I could do a group buy on stupidly big spoilers
  12. Thing you need to consider as well, most people who fit the nismo spoiler have it bolted onto the original oem holes then bonded. This boot doesn't have those either, personally I quite like the spoiler and would keep it. +1, Some nice rear lights swapped in would make a world of difference
  13. I googled the make of the spoiler and couldn't find anything. There's new chinese ones for £190 on ebay,so you might get £100 for it. Japspeed sell new ones for £350 so from your point of view it would be worth an ebay auction with a reserve of say £70. It's a wide one, so people would want it (me included) and if you can get a brand name and it's expensive you could get more.
  14. I doubt the nismo would cover it as the legs are quite wide, but I'll buy that spoiler off you (Genuinely!) Not the lights though, they naaaaasty

  16. What age is the car, if it's a 2008 z self servicing will make a bit of a dent in the price, not massive, but enough that you'll notice it. A 2002 wouldn't be affected at all really. Personally my view is that someone competent at home can do as good a service as a main stealer can, as they will be showing the car care and won't just be churning out "yet another job". Lots of receipts and proof of good quality parts should negate that stamp in the book people always look for.

I'd agree with Steve, the Rota P1 is fairly similar though

  22. So I got this awesome picture taken by "We The Terrors" and gave my car some personality using paint, it's not very good, but it was fun Has anyone else ever done this, or am I the only loser?
  23. I've got a leather Z seat I wanted to do the same with, but the bottom is so uneven it would be quite a job
