What is your name with all these promises of having these wheels on....Matt Grundy?
-
I'd happily take the plunge to get the best of everything for my car, but as I've tried explaining before, there is no point getting the best if you don't have the supporting parts. You wouldn't just buy a SC/Turbo and bolt it on to a dead stock car would you? You wouldn't buy £3000 speakers and buy a £50 Halfords special Amp? The only reason for getting this exhaust setup is if you are going to be setting lap records. (This isn't a pop at you Bennet, just a general reply to the OP.) Anyway....

I lied Giving it a break this month on spending on the car....need to save some money 24th of this Month I'll purchase the discs

Who Else is going to this? Stevo, Matt? I'm thinking of doing the same as the others - Fri/Sat Then either leave really early sunday, or stay at a local Holiday Inn near Trax Saturday night.

Grundy replied to big si 1976's topic in Wanted
I know of the worlds best exhaust system up for grabs! (Only include Manifolds and Cats) For £2700 if that tickles your fancy? I joke, - Used you will just have to keep your eyes out. For New try CS (A trader on here) For Scorpian or Cobra exhaust system (Around £400ihs) Or Ping Tarmac a PM and see what deals he can get. -
do the cars still handle like @*!# or more forza/gt? More like GT/Forza. It's so much better than Grid 2. The only thing that lets it down is the racing groups. I.e. each race, you pretty much race in 3 different cars. 350z is only drift racing. There's no mixtures, just so many different categories.
-
Spent way too much money on the Steam Sales. Picked up Grid Autosport today, very nice game - The 350z is very fun in the drift series.
-
Any after market Cats/Manifolds? It's just daft going for this setup if you don't have a billion ponies hiding under the engine to get the best lap round the ring in! It's just like spending £5k on speakers, and buying a £50 Amp to go with it.

due out this autumn although non of them are Liberty walk bodykits there kya koto or something liberty walk are like west coast customs just top the parts together It will be Rocket Bunny branded, they have just released their Rx7 kit, identical really Are you getting any further Grundy, just hit the same wall with mine not clearing the Brembos so going to effectively end up a -4 et on a 9j and they work pretty well, nothing more major than an arch roll and some stretch (235/35), just gives a nice bit of poke Will get some pictures up when i get it back next week I've found some Brake Discs which are deeper (which mean the disc will sit closer to the engine, further from the wheel) - And have a guy to make a bracket to move the calliper. Will be doing it next month (Having a break of modding this month ) So fingers crossed different discs will work.

Looks like a bargain, spelling FAIL of the year I would say

I don't get it one word and you're writing the advert off. That car looks like a bargain IF it's in good condition. -
When you're on holiday with friends, and you know the mate you're sharing a room with is about to get laid that night, DON'T trash the room to stop him having sex! It will result in you putting one mattress on the balcony, and in the proceeds of moving the 2nd one into the bathroom to shower the mattress wet, you will knock the ceiling tiles along with the air con duct that swings down and knocks you out for a good while!

It's not people defending their own systems, it's just getting our heads around the price tag... And for me you have it round the wrong way, if you are paying for that price, you want to be going for the BHP increase over Sound. But as I said, NO road car will benefit from that increase for that price. If you want a perfect sound, go custom. If I was to pay that price for an awesome sound, I'd want an exhaust for when I turn up to a meet for it to turn EVERYONE'S heads, and for them all to crowd me and go WOW, what do you have... This does not do that, it sounds like every other exhaust every other 350z has. Just out of curiosity, have you heard this system in person?
-
I know we all say, it's your car it's down to you what you do etc... But this I literally can't see any point in it. It sounds like 99% of all the other exhausts out there. We say we buy the exhaust because we like the noise etc, but we buy them to stand out and to get attention, this does not sound like a £2700 exhaust. Any custom exhaust fabricator could knock this noise up. Okay, so it's not just the noise, but the BHP increase you want?...the only point in going down that route, is if you are going to be a heavily FI, racing, touring car trying to squeeze as much BHP you can out of it to get that extra few seconds knocked off your lap time. I'm sorry but I can't see any reasons to benefit from spending that much on that exhaust.
-
This made my day! Not the injury, just you with guns and home made knuckle dusters xD
-
No idea on prices yet, once we have the kit etc, and see how much stock costs, then we can arrange set prices. I'll probably be planning on buying a couple of interior bits, dipping, then exchanging.
-
The squeaking noise will be the polystyrene from that holds the spare wheel in.
-
Just FYI Hump, I sold mine recently for £100

Yo, So was talking to my good pal tonight, and we've got the space, knowledge and soon to have the equipment for it. I know Vlad took this on a little while ago. Before we start it up, I want to find out if there is any interest in this for me to take this any further. We will be able to dip most things (Will be using a bath tub So up to that size) Also, it doesn't have to just be Carbon Matt

Think it's just bad timing atm buddy. With Wales just past, LakeZ this weekend, Japfest 2 coming up, A lot of people + a lot of driving already - Late Sept/early Oct would be the best timing IMO.
