This +1 If it was me I'd save the money on the HFC and either buy cheap set of De-Cats to test or Sell the Milltek and invest in a different exhaust, I feel you will be a bit disappointed still with HFC + Miltek if it already sounds quiet to you. Options are Cobra, Custom (my route and love it!), invidia they are the most common, never hear complaints Or you could pick up a 2nd hand Japspeed exhaust if you are after Noise, they can be found under £200

To do with emissions and fuel efficiency for the current market? as 10 years ago say a 1.0 litre car produced 70BHP and 40MGP No a days 1.0 litre car produces 140 BHP and 40/50MPG Something stupid like that (None of those are accurate figures) That's just my guess anyway, can get more power out of a smaller engine with better MPG/Cheaper to build?

Just ring around, Never really found Forum insurers competitive enough compared to the big dogs. speak to the obvious ones OVER THE PHONE, internet quotes are crap, unless you get a really good quote. Over the phone ends in better deals. Admiral, Churchil etc. The compare the market and sites like that are crap. You need to speak to each insurance company to get a decent quote.

As per my reply, need to know information on the wheel size - Someone could be running say a 10J wheel with 285 tyre and not get any rub, where as someone with a 10.5J wheel with 285 tyres could be receiving rub. I'm guessing the 275's are on there for a reason.

I think that's meant to do that (The camera not working when not in reverse) My guess would be that there is a setting in the options somewhere to allow the camera to be auto/take priority etc.

Just after browsing Auto trader, Cheapest going for 7K and Dearest going for around 10K - All with similar mileage. Hope that helps

What I got from that is.... You want the HU to auto display the rear camera when reversing? On a side note, (I'm just spit balling) but the rear camera sensor could be hooked up/grounded when the gears go into reverse thus enabling the HU to display the camera? I.e. It's cabled up like a headunit is cabled to the Handbrake to stop people watching movies whilst driving?

This is why I didn't get a Second car I'd want it to save me money, but it's always a PITA when something goes wrong and costs you more and more etc.

We'd need to know more about the wheels to give you an idea of what size tyres to go for. Never heard any problems with faulkens before. Lots of people run them on here.

Just a thought and a loop hole, Everyone always bangs on about You have to get a re-map to reap the benefits as we have a 'smart' ecu. So in away, none of these are increasing the BHP? Unless a remap is done? Just a thought
