  1. The downgrading a brake option is a small term solution, as I can't afford Coilly's just yet, if I could I'd have got them and jumped on the camber wagon. Thing is, as Stevo mentioned to me, These guys are running £2k+ Wheels, so spending extra to Flare/New Fenders etc to get them to fit makes sense. Mine are not £2k wheels Granted to me my wheels are expensive! But no idea how much it would cost to flare the arches.
  2. find the wheel you want send us a link and well tell you if they will fit also if your arnt aware you need a PCD of 5x114 Why spacers? is that for any 275/9-wide rear? Dude seriously, listen to the advice you are given. I mean this in the nicest way possible, but have you bought after market wheels before? You are asking ALL the WRONG questions when looking for new wheels.
  3. Aye GM, that was another option found today by Stevo. I'd need to find a set at the scrappy to find out the measurements etc (Unless anyone knew the depth of them compared to Brembos)
  4. said this before get a 235 or a 225 if your pushing it and get here tucked up be fine Problem with tyres is it's expensive to test.
  5. The original thread wasn't accurate. I think when me and my friend did it all last month we got it down to maybe a 16-14mm spacer #teamtarmac
  6. http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/85685-grundys-front-wheels-issues/ I'm under the impression, With Good Discs and Good Pads, Braided lines, it's going to be better than standard OEM setup.
  7. Not looked into that option to much as I didn't want to go down the 'tampering' with body route - but if I'm going RBK it doesn't really matter.Depends on cost. But the other issue is I'd need to do rears and then space rears as well as with spacers, they stick out more than the rear.
  8. Went to order my front discs today to finally solve the problem of the whole 'My front wheels don't fit :lol ' They emailed me back with - Afraid we ordered a set last week and we couldn't get them on the hubs of the 350z  So awaiting an email if he has any other solutions.... Been a while since I looked at all the measurements so not really done any more digging today, it's too bloody hot to think! But once Tarmac has his copy of Rocket Bunny Kit available (probably next year) I've called first trial on that But for now I may just run JDM calipers, with uprated Discs, Pads and HEL Braided lines. Just awaiting prices from Clarky. Yes to some of you it may of been easier to replace the wheels etc, but afraid that was never an option on the table for me. It's the world of modding, and this is just one of this issues that crops up. They'l be on with Brembo's one day!
  9. Sorry It was a joke at my wheels. Was just saying IF i was in your position, that's what would happen to me
  10. Good luck.... #teamtarmac
  11. If this was me - the answer would be yes at a tight squeeze. Exhaust arrives Go to fit it and turns out the US Charge rear is different to the UK rear
  12. 8-11J are going to fit but with the wrong offset they are going to be just sat in your garage. #teamtarmac
  13. You can't choose tyres before you've chosen your wheels. That would be like buying a pair of shoes for a friend when you don't know what size feet they are. You need to find the wheels you want and then post on the forum and ask if they fit etc. I'd choose my friend based on the size of his feet The Vredestein Sessanta tyres come in a million different sizes, I'm sure I'll be able to find some to fit whatever wheels I buy. I understand tyre sizes, it's the wheel sizes that confuse me... 1.) Will 19x8, 19x8.5 and 19.9 wheels all fit on my car without any modifications required? 2.) What effect does the x8, x8.5 and x9 size have on tyres? Will I need to buy different sized tyres depending on those wheel measurements? None of the tyres I've looked at quote that size... think you're missing my point. ( yes my wheels aren't on, but I did a lot of research on the sizes to fit my arches) You need to look into offsets not just the width of the wheels. As you said tyres come in all different sizes. So they are irrelevant right now. You need to find wheels that fit and then go from there with tyre sizes. I could tell you go buy 245/40/18 tyres... But that could be too small or completely wrong for what ever wheel you choose. #teamtarmac

  15. They do if youre a man and buy wheels first, then make your arches fit your wheels. Making your wheels fit your arches is more sensible, but is is for girls. Been an expensive year! Besides, I want the Rocket Bunny Kit any way
  16. So whats the crack with this then? Who's going to go? Matt needs to not be a homo and go! So does Ian! I need a tent
  17. Just FYI - Expensive wheels don't always work either .......
  18. That actually happened, I remember somebody linking to photobucket and ended up browsing at soft porn, especially when you went further than the "for sale" advert That was a great thread for all the wrong reasons. Link please +1
  19. I have genuinely fallen in love with this car! And it's great to see so many other fans of this car aswell!
  20. That's awesome dude!
  21. They just don't do it for me I'm afraid The one you linked is clean and tidy and deffo not over the top. But I don't know, Celica's, I've never been a fan not really sure why.
  22. hence I posted it as an off topic err discussion, saw it, made me laugh, thought Id share... This isn't a dig at you or your post. Was just an inside joke where some random threads just go completely off topic for ridiculous amounts of pages.
  23. Prices on these are going up mate . Probably be better off with a DC2 and swapping the engine over.
