Can some one quickly relay the pros and cons to all this? Pro's for leaving Con's Pro's for Staying Con's Not really been following any of this. Government never seem to do anything for me...or for that matter anything right I know it's a bad way to look at politics but for me it's true. The country is a mess.

My wife did that once as did a friend. Strangely come renewal time they were asked about their accident even though they did not claim. And oddly, both renewals went up. (considerably) Yes I know some do, some don't, some good, some bad. But they don't put it on their letter head or website. So who knows ?? Happened to me,Someone bumped into my previous car, grazed the front bumper. He asked to deal with this outside of insurance, which was fine with me. I contacted my insurance just to give them a heads up in case it he doesn't pay up. He paid up, all was fine. Renewal came through, now I have to pay an extra 300/400 on top because of the non fault claim....

Funny thing is I don't think as many people as you'd think even know how the registration plates work. One of my neighbours daughters that I know (30 something year old) was admiring my car & chatting to me whilst I washed it. She was commenting the usual "I like your car", blah blah blah and I said "yeah thanks, not bad for an 11 year old car". To which she said "I thought it was a newer car!". I said "No it's a 53 plate", ..."Oh is that what that means?!" she replied. Exactly YOU make the car look good to your standards, not the age that's irrelevant
