  1. My passenger window drop was intermittent, I tried the reset, taking the door card off and resetting on the motor, in the end it was the little door open/closed sensor/nipple in the door shut. If I recall, it made a clicky noise when I touched it with the door open and the window jumped up and down. Just popped it off and reseated it, sorted now! http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/73582-window-reset-works-for-a-while-then-doesnt-auto-drop/

    Which lip?

A Veilside V1 lip from Tarmac Sportz, on my Zed, colour coded. I really, really like it, if I do say so myself

    Which lip?

It's so fit, must resist and save for house.

    Which lip?

along, I like the first second one personally but you've got to live with it Have you consider the Veilside?
  5. Didn't want to jump, so gone for the Bosch - cheers all for your help, this place rules.
  6. Cheers Neil. I'm just getting suspicious of these as I've had some poor experiences on bulbs and other bits not fitting after the magic plate search (not from ECP I might add).
  7. Thats great to know as it save me opening the bonnet (and more importantly windows up doors) to release it, to get the dimensions. Which are, in case anyone finds this thread on a search Dimension (LxDxH): 232x173x225mm
  8. Cheers for specifics peeps, I've got something to shoot for now. Just out of interest, I rang local Halfords after the website fail (I know, I know, I shouldn't have bothered) they told me they don't have them and can't order them It's a good job you lot know what you're on about, thanks!
  9. I'd not really thought about this, but it makes total sense (especially with my tunes cranked up) I only have a short commute (about 10 mins each way) but I'd been on a long blast to Leeds the day before I went away and also upto the Lakes a few days before that so it's not like it hadn't had a good few hours run... I'll bear this in mind in future though, gosh darn it - this means I HAVE to go driving now, just for the sake of it thanks!
  10. Cheers for quick replies, Bosch sounds good, any link at all? I tried to use the "find your car" thing on the halfords website, but It gave me a sorry please call our branch message and now I can't just "view all" because it knows I have a 350z (stupid cookies).
  11. So I've been on a road trip to Barcelona since the 27th Dec (http://tinyurl.com/qe32tzo), I cheated on my Zed with a Peugeot 308 diesel which has, er.... excellent fuel economy. She's clearly found out and refuses to start. Went to check on The Shark this morning and she's flat, not even the central locking wants to play, so I CAREFULLY opened her up and not a milliamp inside, even the dome LEDs have gone to sleep. I noticed about a month ago she was taking more than the usual split second to turn over, so I am assuming small power drains over a week, exceptional cold temps whilst I've been away, a battery of a certain vintage, all combined = no juice. What's the safest, gentlest way to begin her back? Using only things that can be bought from Halfords - as I need her tomorrow for work. Is it just easier to get a new battery and make the switch? I have no idea how old the current one is, as there's no receipt for it anywhere. If replacement is the way forward, what SHOULD I be using (any need for genuine Nissan?) or even better, is there anything you can recommend - good for an extra 20bhp? Never replaced one before so please be specific and links would be amazeballz, 2004 DE if it makes any odds. Thanks
  12. Enjoy your travels mate and GLWTS, a spell on the road seeing some of the world is one of the best things you can do.
  13. Good effort. I can barely get the one set of clubs in, two is an urban myth...
  14. Top tip fellas, big thanks. The museum was amazeballz and we got to drive around the place for 3 euro and take some snaps, bargain. Can't wait to get back on it on Gran Turismo. couple of quick snaps. Proper photos are on my camera. Sadly no time to get up to the beaches, but they are already earmarked for another battlefields road trip.
  15. On the way back from Barca now. Stopped in Bordeaux and tomorrow heading to Le Mans and Rouen, is it worth hitting Le Mans when there's no racing on? Anything to see anyone can recommend? I don't know the area so links would be ace, there any good photos ops and historic sites? Any other driving roads around Northern France whilst I'm here? Thanks gang.
  16. Yaaaay! First one, GM roadster Calle de Provenza. Pretty stock, aftermarket exhaust? And a cool porker in a shop
  17. No nice tunnel vids sadly, there are three of us so the Zed is at home, we came in a Peugoet 308 My mate (whose car it is) likes it because of the torque. I didn't have the heart to say it has no torque, none, not even a little. I miss The Shark, excellent gas mileage though two tanks to Barca.
  18. Sorry, pocquito boracho, correctamente ahorito
  19. Couple of phone snaps, best ones on my camera will need to wait until return. Tiny bus Millau Viaduct French parking
  20. Driven from Leeds to Barcelona for New Year, no Zeds. Not one. Millau Viaduct is cool though.
  21. And how necessary is AV for Mac? I use it for on demand scans of inbound email attachments, I know I won't get infected but I don't like to pass on attachments that might be contaminated to my mates.
  22. Avast and malwarebytes for my PC. ClamXav for the Mac. I found Norton a bit resource hungry.
  23. You're spot on about that Dave, but I always feel like I'm encouraging smack heads to go out on the rob by buying through fences.
