  1. I would say about 25%, its not only the initial money they take off you, its the amount they scam off your credit card when you give them the details... That seems a tad high. Selling financial products with "warm" leads did well to hit 25% sales when I worked there, and that's targeting people who are actively seeking the products you're peddling and expecting a call, not a cold call.
  2. Are all the externals wedge type?
  3. Interesting that some people simply accept the idea that Microsoft have agents proactively monitoring all windows machines across the globe (the numbers must be huge), ready to alert them to slow running/malware/any other dreamed up negative impact. It seems like an obvious scam, but not simply because I'm relatively interested in tech compared to some, just simply because I wouldn't generally accept at face value any kind of unsolicited advice, be it, web, phone or a knock at the door. I'd be very intrigued to know the success rate of something like this from the caller's point of view, even more so to know what percent of victims never even know they've been scammed.
  4. Plastidipping anything. Two grommets for a wiper delete. A cheap yet colourful gear stick gaiter. Richbrook anti-theft, shiny valve caps.i assume you already have one of their 350z tax disc holders. Fluffy dice? I'm sorry, I've let down everyone, including myself.
  5. You'll never again leave a car park without glancing over your shoulder...
  6. Nice Zed, 370s keep making eyes at me...
  7. Alex did me slave and line and fluid for mine, when the pedal was disappearing in the heat. Mine's a 2004. Solved!
  8. Who knew it had an "engine release" under the dash? Presumably this is in case it goes critical and you need to eject before it explodes. Every day is a school day.
  9. When my tech changed my slave and line he had the same thing at first, stuck religiously to the procedure in the link above and it finally came good. Not much help I know, but persevere and make sure you get the pump/bleed sequence/timing spot on. Good luck bud.
  10. I recently dropped one of these in the "footwell" behind the driver's seat. http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0027IXYGA/ref=pe_385721_37038051_pe_217191_31005151_3p_M3T1_dp_1 Cuts down condensation nicely when I get in, but does require "recharging". If I was doing it again I'd probably find a 1kg bag instead of 500g and order two, for squad rotation or, because yours seems really serious, one behind passenger seat as well. Other than that, crank your AC as per above. Good luck.
  11. Don't forget a big spot lamp and a gun rack, also a CB radio. You know the steering wheel is on the wrong side yeah? I know it's not built for speed and cornering, but is there any 'sport' there (except the badge)?
  12. The thing that gets me about some, not all, bikes (pedal and power) is that I was told to treat them in the same way as a car, in terms of space and accommodation on the road. I totally get this, but you can't have it both ways. If you want to be treated like a car, behave like one, no nipping in-between, no undertaking and no sitting in blind spots.
  13. Passenger?
  14. Mavericks download wasn't working?
  15. Glad you've solved it, but I was just the messenger. NEO is The One.
  16. I've found it can be intermittent too, not sure how much tempreture is a factor and also length of time the boot has been unopened. These do seem to have an impact in my experience. It clears 99 times out of a hundred now, and so far I have: Replaced pop springs with genuine Zmanalex/Nissan pop springs Replaced boot struts (this was to stop tailgate falling on my head when open, not to assist boot pop!) Removed rear wiper (this was for cosmetic purposes, but there is a not insignificant weight reduction too) Removed boot weight Added rubber "bumper" feet (approx 1cm in height) to the pop springs The last two on the list had the most noticeable effect, but were also the last steps I took - so not exactly scientific proof I don't experience any drafts or any increase in noise since these have been done, there's no water ingress (which would suggest the seal is still tight). Anyway, that's all the steps I could find on here and it's now sorted, fingers crossed. Glad you seem to have it fixed too bud, hopefully it won't come back.

Can you not move it somewhere else? So the Nismo kit feels comfortable in the living room.

Nice Zed Coldel. The stillen splitter was right up on my list, but I didn't fancy the little "braces" on my GM. Looks sweet against black though.
  21. If you're in it for the challenge and satisfaction, maybe http://nofilmschool.com/build-a-hackintosh/ I quite like the idea of having a crack at this! Worse case scenario, you end up with a decent PC/Ubuntu machine.
  22. I'm northern so I'm all over chips and gravy, but with cheese curd? You guys are crazy!
  23. Can you just rock up with no tickets and pay on the door?
  24. Interesting one, thinking of doing the same thing for my old man.
  25. Yes, that comes from there own stats I get you, it'll be 25% of the world's prisoner population I suspect. It's a scary stat though.
