  1. Thanks, I have been looking at those so your endorsement and comments are really helpful.
  2. Like many others my W brace (or bracket) about midships under the car is completely rusted and bashed by a speed hump I should think. Does anyone recommend a good source for a replacement or alternative other than buying through Nissan. I've seen some on M1motorsport and possibly eurospares might be worth a call. They seem quite expensive for a bit of low grade steel that seems to rot overnight..
  3. Yes that's a good thought. I don't suppose anyone repairs these things.
  4. 2010 370z has some seaping from the PS oil cooler. The curved end rather than the hose end which is strange. Maybe hit by a stone. Anyway I’m keeping an eye on it for now. What do you think, if it’s had it...a Nissan replacement or one of the non standard options I see around on eBay etc. Advice welcome. thanks
  5. 2010 370z exhaust original and rusty and quiet. Had res Cobra cat back on 350 but it was a bit droney A Scorpion cat back is fully guaranteed well thought of and just in budget and is appropriate for my advancing years (72) even if they don't come in beige. This is what my head tells me to get. My heart tells me to get Res Tarmac short tails because they sound so crisp and barky and I can pretend to be 25 again. They are a bit cheaper but don't include the centre section. But are they going to be too droney for the Memshib who will say "what the xxxx have you done to this car" Why am I even asking you lot. You are going to say go loud or get Gemini aren't you! I hope.
  6. Hello Mr Buster

I like the look of the Tarmac short tails (resonated) you do for 370z.

Two questions for you: What is the difference between the Nismo and your standard ones apart from price?

Secondly, what is the warranty on the parts.

    Thanks.

By the way, very good comments about Tarmac on the 370z.uk forum.

Thanks for the info. Was hoping for a longer warranty but ok.

Also, do you do the racing W brace for the 370? Mine looks in worse condition than the Titanic.

I've ordered the short tails from you. Thanks for the messages.

Shall check out the W brace when I'm down there.

    DIRENZA

My 370 is going to need a new exhaust system at some point. I had a Cobra on my previous 350 which was good but a little resonant on motorways. Does anyone have any experience of DIRENZA systems, they are quite a bit cheaper than Cobra and the one I fancy, Scorpion. Thanks
  8. Thanks for the replies. I've been looking at the Torqen ones so will check out Tarmac
  9. The big W bracket under my 2010 370z is badly corroded and needs a replacement. Does anyone have one for sale in good condition?
  10. I'm told the pipes carrying the transmission fluid are leaking and corroded. I have a quote from Nissan of £800 to fix it. Pretty steep but it's a grotty job and the sub frame has to come out. I had corroded pipes on my 350z, must be a common thing. Anyone else had this problem?

  12. I'm in the Bromley/Croydon area (well someone has to be) and my 370z has leaky steering rack oil pipes. Too much for me to do as I understand it needs a big 4 point ramp to get at it. Can anyone recommend an alternative place to Nissan in Bromley where they might not charge the same lofty prices Thanks
  13. Just picking up on this old topic. Can anyone explain why exactly the auto fold mirrors widget (Flyboy etc) that works so well on the 350z doesn't function on the 370z. I know it's to do with the CANBUS system, which I've read a bit about but still can't see why it couldn't be made to work. I have a suitable ebay widget boxt that I got when the Flyboy sets weren't available last summer, but before I waste my time I wanted to ask the wise about it. Thanks
  14. Is there any more news with the folly out mirrors unit. My car is early 2010 with Sat Nav box of tricks in boot.
  15. Can you please let me know the status with the fold out mirrors system. I would like one for a 2010 370z. Thanks Neil
  16. Is the chap in the USA still the one to go to for a back up camera kit for a March 2010 370z GT. Thanks
  17. Think i may have answered my own question. There is a youtube piece with a woman in a 2009 roadster doing a review. She mentions the “satisfying blip” of the engine when downshifting with the paddles.I know they use a torque converter rather than dual clutch on the auto but i was sure Nissan had come up with a rev match for it, i wasnt sure when they introduced it. Thanks for the replies.
  18. I'm on brink of swapping 350 for a 370. I fancy paddle shifts for a change and I've found a 2010 car, but it's a long way away from me. A deal has been agreed in principal. My question is; will a mid 2010 auto car with paddle shifters have the rev match system, or was it introduced later? It's a deal breaker. Thanks
  19. Did mine last year. Pulled the axles through, cleaned them up, packed marine grease at base of spindle and tightened nut to correct torque. No problem since.
  20. Many thanks Jetpilot. ive also been looking at the Camen, really good car but expensive. I'll stick with the Zs.
  21. I need to try one to see how quick the change is and how well the box matches the revs on downshifts. I will report back.
  22. That makes sense to me. I like the thought of people fighting over it, better get the buffer out. Thanks
  23. Due to unforeseen inheritance, thought I would part with my much loved 350z and get a 370z. Should have just enough for a 2010 car provided I get a reasonable price for my z. There doesn't seem to be a huge difference between dealer prices and private sellers. I wonder how prepared dealers are these days to haggle, there not being a huge profit margin on second hand cars as there is so much competition. The element I could perhaps haggle over is the value of the trade in which also gives the dealer a profit. My car is a low mileage 2003 GT, looking for £5k or a bit more (£5.5k?) what do you experts think? Many thanks.
  24. Thanks for comments above. I will try one out for sure and see, my feelings are to give it a go provided the gear changes are not too lazy.. I've seen loads of YouTube stuff of adolescent Americans raving about them but most of them can't drive anyway. Any reliability issues?
