That might work! You could always power the camera from the reverse light then it will only come on when reversing instead of a switch!

I got put off with the cheap Chinese ones, they seemed to do everything but everything badly so I went pioneer

Drilled crack but do look pretty. I'd always go for grooved or standard

I'd imagine there would be some fade under heavy braking but for 15 min sessions you'll be fine!

Can you switch it on/off using the steering wheel controls?

Definitely sounds like it to me, used to get this a lot on the VAG diesels

I bought a light weight water proof/breathable thing from mill autos and it was shite, it pretty much destroyed the paint! My friend had a fleece lined one but it was indoors only... I wander if there is a happy medium

It's one of those things that bloody annoys me. Specially when your passenger is eager to get in and they open the door just as you unlock it which messes it up!
