After searching for reasonably priced and correct fitting tow eyes i gave up and ordered some trs tow straps like these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/330875756704 Now im going to have to buy some bolts to fit them so does anyone know the correct thread bolts that would be needed for a 2004 gt?

Did that hold the handle secure without the other two grub screws? Yes no problems as it was a snug fit anyway so was only needed to make sure it doesn't come off

My Nardi handle was the same. Just ended up drilling through the handbrake at the top and tapping a thread then put a longer grub screw through both.
