    Help Needed

Lee, I have carried out this type of work many times more than I care to remember and an experienced technician who knows his way around the 350Z VQ35DE should crack this job in 8 hours providing he has the knowledge, correct tools and equipment. Basically that is broken down as: 6 hours for engine in and out: 1 hour benchwork 1 hour bleeding coolant system However you will be hard pressed to get a garage to quote you these numbers as most will prefer to cost it as job value as opposed to how quick it can be done so it is imperative that you find an experienced technician who knows his way around a 350Z VQ35DE and a garage who will quote time favourably and at a reasonable hourly rate. Your mid sump will be shipping to you first thing Monday morning mate. Alex. Thanks for all your help Alex Especially for having the patience to answer all my noobie questions

Knew i should of stuck with the unreliable rotary engine lol All joking aside surely it cant be a 2 day job to pull an engine and swap the mid sump. From what i have read on the american forums its a 6-8 hour job at most. If it is a 2 day job then it will be a steep learning curve lol. Knew i should of left that gauge broken

Its got a few choice mods on it already so should save me a bit in the long run but the modding bug has already bitten and ordered a new nismo gear knob and on the lookout for a decent handbrake handle .

    Blue or black Z

Im on the lookout for either a blue or black z ideally a uk gt model with no more than 80k miles on it. I have a budget of around 6k but could be stretched a bit depending on spec. Im down in devon and whilst i dont mind travelling for a car really dont want to go to scotland lol So if anyone wants to swap there pride and joy for some cash let me know.
  16. Still on the hunt but the more i read the more confused im becoming I pretty much discounted the idea of buying an import as i was under the impression that they don't have an lsd but now it appears that some do and some dont. Bareing in mind that any car i go and look at involves a fair old drive is there an easy way to distinguish (ie which model) so i can narrow down my search without wasting money on petrol .
  17. Yes still got a few bits left to sell Bought it standard and had it for 6 years. Like a fool i modded it too far and it was just to powerful/noisy for the road and living where i do its 120 miles to the nearest track hence here we are
