haha it was a rolling shell.... once :-P just putting my mark on it before she gets built up again. It will be a Z again -
Get it changed man, I used to change mine in the skyline every 4 or 5 outings it had drifting. Fuchs or Silkolene is good but can suffer with heat if you're really going for it for hours but has always looked after my diffs In regards to the GTR stuff, miracles have happened lol
-
I've heard of a few people complaining of breaking shafts with the 350z diff on standard power but the diff itself seems ok. I need to see how I'm going to fit my GTR stuff into the 350z casing Your car looked to be working really well at Norfolk Stevo don't change a thing lol Matt, what oil and brand are you running in yours?
-
Car's looking wheel man Love your wheels, especially the rears, just wish they did them with that dish oas 18's don't fancy putting 19" tyres on for drifting Keep up the good work

Haha true enough but I hope they stay like that for a while cos I'm not going to be putting loads of miles on it..... well not straight away :-P Can't wait to start putting them all on, hoping those ARB's will help the transformation Don't be in a rush man it took me a while to get in touch with them and the first time I tried I never got a reply. I went through both Japan and the US. Don't worry too much about those ones man, my version will be about around xmas time Cheers man, it's taking a long time but good things come to those who wait and all that lol. -
Mines an all weld in cage, which came from Custom Cages as a basis then Jason and I are going to mod it and add in our own parts to meet regs...... and my own desires lol
-
Awful news, condolences to their family. RIP
-
Speak to Jason at Clark Customs on 07840554596 and he should be able to help. He's the guy that's going to be doing all of the cage stuff on mine in the next couple of weeks

Right, basically I spent most of Saturday with a wire brush on the drill working on every seam between the B-pillars and the turrets. I really couldn't believe how many there were. Luckily I had Adam there again lending a hand. It's not the easiest to see but I think I know what my job will be tomorrow night once I finish work :-) The glass is also being taken out of the car tomorrow, so that's the windscreen, little side windows and the boot glass :-D I feel kind of bad that I've only shown you guys pictures of wire brushed areas so here's a little treat... This morning I received my first package from the US, which was from MAX GT Factory. Here you go Rear Camber Arms Rear Toe Arms Rear Traction Rods GT Factory Super Angle Kit I hope you like -

Yeah there are a few options depends how big your budget just like anything really. There wasn't much left of my LS3 harness once I had finished with it last time. Could have plugged something into the OBD connection to get a lot of the infomation though. This time I will be going with an Emerald ECU and harness which should make things a little bit easier to connect things too and for trouble shooting at the track. The standard LS3 ECU is great, completely mappable and safe but you need to use the EFI live software which is about £500-£750 in total and you can't do live mapping. You have to alter the tables, download it then run the engine to see if what you have done is better or worse. Makes it a very long and laborious process. The emerald should hopefully sort all of those above issues out -

I haven't had a look at the dials properly for the Z but I would imagine it would be easiest to use custom dials. My plan is to use custom ones in the gauge pods and dash that it comes with so it looks sort of OEM style. The hardest thing to sort out will be the speedo. To be honest in the skyline I only had oil pressure and temp and coolant temp nothing else -

Yeah man, I should be able to get the majority of it pulled together so all you'd really need would be the engine. The headers are the killer on price. I've still got to overcome that bit myself -

That's all cool man just drop me a PM when you guys want to head over and I'll see what I'm up too. I can do the fab work for your car for you man when are you thinking it will need to be done? Once I've done the mounts, sump and drive shaft for mine I'll be making a kit so guys on here can purchase it. It'll be a lot cheaper than the Sikky equivalent!! -
