  6. Cheers to the organisers. I finally got out on the track after missing the 1st lap Roof down on the way home with the sun shinning, twas all good!
  7. I went through my box of bits on the weekend too. Loved the tyre applicator and tyre gel but I F'ing hate the in car smelly thing! Im going to have to order some of the older scented dooberies as they were lovely on the nose.
  8. Got my tickets, thanks everyone involved. Are helmets required if you have track time? I'm in a roadster.
  9. I use my Nilfsk with a snow foam on my roadster all the time. The roof has been treated so the fabric has a beading affect akin to waxing your body work. I dont get too close to the fabric with the nossle as Im sure it would damage it very quickly. Just stand back and use the spray to clean the top.
  10. That tyre gel is awesome! easy to apply and looks amazingly shiny. Did you buff it off to leave a matte finish? I too purchased Z8 recently it smells amazing but it didnt seem to make any difference to my paint work?!? I had just DA the car with Colinite wax and apparently the wax is meant to cure for 24 hrs before applying anything ontop.
  11. ThHe silver coupe in Leatherhead was probably my mates who lives over the road Im yet to be spoted
  12. I too love TVRs. The Z's seem to hold their own though, I didnt realise how tiny the TVR's are..

    BLEEDING BRAKES

Is it advisable to have the car running while you are bleeding the brakes?
  15. The plastidip glossifier is never in stock
  16. If it was a roadster then it was moi I was on route to the London motor museum.
  17. If you we're the SE Meets organiser then I could but your not so ner I've got a powerful torch that I used to view the correction.
  18. I've only ever really used autoglym SRP on a silver car and it did mask tiny scratches with fillers and some of its abrasive properties but it took so much effort I wanted to gt a DA. You can't see the corrections until the sun is shinning so my 2 passes today may of been a waste of time. It's all a learning curve though. I know on my 1st go I had too much polish on the pad as the poors got clogged (I was putting 4 pea sized drops on) today 2 or 3 drops worked much better. Using the DA killed my quads and lower back yesterday and today my thumb feels like its got some form of RSI. Cheers for the heads up Arran.
