  1. I did one of these at Chobham, I chose the Aston DBS, what a car! Unbelievable beauty and power. Had choice of lambos, ferrari etc but i love Aston Martins so it was only one car I was driving
  2. Is that a wrap round the rear glass to match the gloss roof? If so do you have a whole pic from the back of the car? Bet that looks awesome!
  3. That's the reason I'm edging towards gloss because carbon might just be a little to ott, I'm on my phone at mo so can't put a pic up just yet
  4. Evening all Figured after I've detailed the car I want to wrap the roof, trouble is I'm not to sure what I want to do it in. Gloss deep black or carbon fibre wrap, either will be got from RT Basically I need some pictures if anyone has either done so I can see what it looks like Cheers all Arran
  5. E36 vert for that money, wouldn't be looking at anything else. Miss my old coupe!
  6. Love washing/detailing my cars, I'm an avid detailer it gives me huge satisfaction to stand back after 2 days of detailing and seeing the results, the effort doesn't go unoticed when random people stop to say how good the car looks. Just this moment finished my first days detailing on the Z, first time I've had a chance since owning it, got tomorrow left to finish it can't wait til it's done First days method was Snow foam using orange valet pro foam Rinse car then wash wheels/calipers with detailing brush and bilberry wheel cleaner Wash car with wool mitt, 2bm using dodo juice born to be mild IronX car and wheels Rinse car then clay using megs clay and megs speed detailer (only use this as lube not a quick detailer, don't rate it much) Rewash car same as step 3 Dry using wooly mammoth towel and quick detailed using finishkare 425 just for overnight protection until I restart tomorrow
  7. Who doesn't do 80 plus on a motorway though, going with the flow of traffic really
  8. Can you do gold at £60 fella? going to order at the weekend
  9. The FK452 replaced the 912 with good reason they're absolute shite, mate had them on his mx5 and the grip was appalling If you can cancel them and go Michelin PSS from camskill.co.uk readily available in our stock size
  10. How come no re supplying fella? problems with company?
  11. Id go for anthracite personally, on a side not that looks like the shocking roads in Stoneleigh

The cobra will be louder than stock though, something to bear in mind if your looking for stock noise levels
  13. Lol joker, in all seriousness you'll be amazed at the difference a good tyre will make to the overall driving experience, expecially on a car like the Z
  14. Get them off ASAP lol, vreds or Michelin go for mate. Have a look into what will suit you best
  15. Are they the original Bridgestone re040? They awful I've heard plus the Bridgestone re050 we put on most BMW are pretty shite to, definatley go with Michelin PSS, the vredstein ultrac sessanta are meant to be really good to if you can't quite stretch, Plus they look great!
  16. For that price you can pretty much get Michelin pilot super sports (basically the best tyre you can get) 245/45r18 is 175 and 225/45r18 is 158 iirc, go for them mate don't worry about the extra couple quid, your car will thank you for it! Plus will be a lot safer braking distance wise and handling grip to, you'll notice a hell of a difference after the running in period. Drive carefully for about 250 miles while the bed in
  17. I only saw red because that car was my pride and joy for three years, went everywhere and done everything in it lol you'll understand when I put a couple photos up fella Yes he would have needed a new door, but don't park right next to the only car on that level and have the cheek to dent it and not expect a reaction. Tony at dent angel fella, won't let anyone else touch my car for that sort of work
  18. What budget are you looking to spend a tyre don? There's plenty of choice, wouldn't touch federal personally. Tyres I would go for depending on budget Falken FK452/Toyo T1R lowest Vredstein ultrac sessanta middle Michelin pilot super sport top Tyres are the only thing keeping contact with the road fella, don't skimp on them imo
  19. Adam, yes I'm sure it was that cars owner. Il post a picture of my old car and show you that there not a single mark on it until then, cost me 40 to get that ding out, cheap i know but it's the principle
  20. Thats one thing that really gets on my tits, car park dings. I remember shopping in kingston in my previous car, parked at the top level in the corner and i was the only one on that level, came back a few hours later to find and old banger corolla right next to mine. I knew as soon as i was walking up to it that theres probably a dent, got there looked down the side and yep a nice dent on the door. Red mist decended whilst in front of the mrs, so i rugby kicked the bottom of the guys door and caved it in the mrs stood there in shock happy i the knowledge that door was ****ed i jumped in the car and drove off. No respect for other peoples property leads to consequences as far as im concerned
  21. Some more updates for the record, coming along quite nicely now getting ready for the road trip in June Went into work today to get the standard y pipe back on, seems to have taken off some of the barky edge it had when it was all fitted so im glad its a bit quieter now. Just got to let the decats coke up and get a bit quiter now and it should be bang on then! So the pretty much new Cobra y pipe is for sale if anyones interested, il get an ad up for it very soon, its only done about 60 miles since last week! Whilst at work i fitted my carbon sills which ive had sitting around since november Im really impressed with these, they fit like a glove! and look mighty really really pleased with them. Also fitted the Samco intake hose i bought last month Stockpiling a list of bits for the trip which is slowly getting smaller, which will all be fitted a few weeks before the trip is due Gold HEL braided clutch hose HKS hybrid oil filter Next up i need to buy for the stockpile is Gold HEL braided brake lines Front and rear EBC yellowstuff pads Front and rear Michelin pilot super sports Silkolene Pro S 5w30 NGK or HKS spark plugs Need to get the wheels refurbished and Eibach spacers done soon aswell So there we have it for another update
