Just thought i would update this thread as so might be interested and thinking dudes getting made redundant and talking about boosting what this kid on well i received the news that my department (only 6 of us) has been removed from the Redundancy proposal the only bad part is it says for the foreseeable future and when questioned well whats that they said we cant say so it could it 3 months or 3 years or 30 years which is a a bit @*!#

Makes no sense to me ~ every car I have ever owned (including a Mk3 Golf VR6) I have always checked the oil when cold and on flat ground. You're trying to access how much oil is in the engine after all so imo you need to leave it overnight for as much of the oil as possible to drain through back to the sump which is where you are reading the level from. If the engine has not been turned off long ago then there will still be oil trapped around the engine in galleries and on components. Giving you a less than true reading imo. isnt that the point if your checking it full and its ok then once it circulated drops below minimum and starves youve got an issue if you check it after its been turned over and oil pressure is built if its above the level you no its safe as it wont be below that level, every mechanic ive known when doing an oil change will top it up with oil check it start it for 20-30 seconds then check it to make sure during operations its not below the minimum level

Well the top 2 are common on to find kits in the UK most traders on here can get them the bottom (v3) is much harder to obtain only trader im aware of to get them is TarmacSportz so have a word with him

you could buy official Nismo 'tuning' Packages that dealers could fit to your when buying in the uk but no official 'Nismo' version was sold

you might if your very lucky (i was) pick up an import which had deen fettled at the nissan red dealers in japan mine had nismo titanium exhaust nismo anti roll bars nismno shocks and springs nismo LMGT4 wheels there never was an official 350Z nismo in the uk you could get the type-s (below in america) and all are LHD i belive and you could get the nismo 380rs in japan below or the 350z 'nismo' edition in the states none of the above cars were sold in the UK
