Its been a busy day. After the disappointment of not being able to have our usual stand and day out at Incarnation I have been looking around for a Spring event to officially kick off show season. I have been in touch with Leeds castle (KENT) to see if we can have a stand at Motors By The Moat. My proposal is we attend the two day event on the Sunday - 13th May. All Had some really bad news about Incarnation this year. Just called them up in line with what I have done in previous years and have been told its been fully booked since last October. Apparently its become so popular that clubs are booking for the following year in advance. Please accept my apologies for this. I am hugely disappointed and have tried everything to get us in but sadly can't. There are plenty of other good shows around our area so leave it with me to sort another event. Hope to see a lot of you at the Grasshopper in a couple of weeks. Martin

Sorry to read this story Dan and to see you loose such a good friend. Sounds like you and your wife are doing all that you can which is what being good friends is all about. Well done for stepping up, take care of yourself and everyone involved.

Firstly, Happy New Year to you all, I trust you had a good Christmas and New Year. I have today spoken to the Grasshopper about holding our South East meets with them again this year. I am delighted to say they are happy for us to continue to use their facilities. I would like to say that this is largely down to everyone who attends showing courtesy and manners before, during and after the meet, so thanks to you all of you who have previously attended. For those of you that are new or have not attended before this is one of our regular meets and a good opportunity to catch up with fellow z enthusiasts and friends. We are a friendly bunch and everyone is welcome whether you own a z, are looking to buy one or are just interested. In my new capacity as South East Regional Event organiser I will be planning more events this year, starting with Incarnation at Brighton in the Spring. Please keep watching the forum for further events and news. The Grasshopper meet starts at 10.30am, at 12 noon we head in for optional lunch (food is excellent). The Grasshopper have asked me for a deposit of £5 per head which I have paid out of my own pocket today. I have made a reservation for 15 as this is our normal number but we can increase if necessary. Please add your name to the list below and state whether you are planning to stay for lunch. If you are planning on staying for lunch please bring a crispy £5 note for me on the day and then you can settle your own bill less £5. Please, please follow forum rules and DO NOT rev,drift or show off your exhaust on arrival, during or on departure. Please ensure that on arrival you park quietly at the far end of the car park (furthest away from the pub). I need to confirm numbers for lunch by close of play on 24th January so please can you let me know prior to this date. All that remains is to add your name and whether your are eating or not and copy and paste to keep the list updated and rolling forward.
