Thanks Vlad. Have a polished fluid cap set on order from zee toyz and need to fit the blue plenum pro bolt set and then we are almost there for the bay although i havent finished polishing the timing covers etc yet (I blame driving to Brum and meeting Wasso in the early days of ownership to my polishing illness). Side steps and front splitter next. Expensive hobby this game...

  13. Any forum members used this new fuel from Shell ?. Wandered if there was any user feedback on it. Heard the ad on the radio this morning..Googled it and copied and pasted some of the write up below. Payco After months of extensive testing, we have created a performance fuel to help your car achieve its performance potential. Developed with Scuderia Ferrari, this new formulation is designed to instantly get to work in your engine on deposits which can reduce performance. We have also increased the friction modifier content by 25%*. The friction modifier is designed to reduce friction in critical engine areas, helping to deliver more power to the wheels. Put simply, this is Ferrari's choice for improved performance.

    BY PASS WATER HOSE

Thanks Paddy. Will wait to hear what others say. Just a bit nervous of pulling them off and then seeing my belts covered in coolant. Will put some towels around the hose ends in case providing i can do this without having to drain the system. Regards Payco
  21. All After some advice. I want to fit a replacement by pass water hose on my zed. Can someone advise if i need to drain anything before i fit it or can i just remove the stock one (when the car is cold) and replace it with the new. Thanks Payco

  23. After some advice. I have just fallen out with first central over my second car insurance cover. Because i didnt reply in time to my renewal notice they cancelled my policy ( i was away on business). They now want to charge me £140 as a NEW customer for a new policy when i have been with them for 4 years !!!...They also wouldnt let me apply my ncb to a second 4 years ago when i took out the policy. I am looking to change my cover for my run around second car (ford focus). Can anyone who runs two cars on here tell me if you can apply your ncb on two cars or can only have it applied to one. I have heard from friends who do.. I am shopping for 3rd party only insurance for my focus but wouldnt mind finding an agent who allows me to use my max ncb currently applied on my zed for both cars.. Any suggestions before i visit the meercats ?. Thanks Payco
  24. I am sure this topic may have done the rounds previously however I would appreciate some instructions on the grounding points and installation instructions for a 7 piece grounding kit for my 2006 coupe if anyone has some. Thanks Payco
  25. I have an issue which is proving hard to solve. I recently purchased a new ARC V2 oil catch can from the USA. I ordered braided hoses from Earls to replace the rubber ones that came with the can. Unfortunatley having spent a considerable amount of time and help from other people on measuring the inside diameter of the hoses the ones supplied by Earls are wrong. The spec of the rubber hoses and details in the manual state they are 15mm inside diameter and 10mm inside diameter. The ones Earls supplied are somewhere between 14mm and 15mm (i asked for 15mm) and DONT fit. Earls have kindly offered to work with me financially on replacing them as they are expensive but have suggested I try and establish from someone else who has Earls hoses fitted to their ARC V2 what sizes they purchased. Earls have said the best way to do this is to dig out the persons original invoice (they can go back up to 2 years). So my cry for help if for any of you out there who has Earls braided hoses fitted to their V2 to either let me know what size hoses they ordered from Earls or better still be so kind as to give me their details and allow Earls to find their invoice. If you can help it would be greatly appreciated... Thanks PAYCO
