    MOD HELP REQUIRED

Hi Guys. Got it sorted. I couldnt find a way to adjust the bonnet mech. I took the rivets out from their holders and placed the diffuser flat without them in place. It closed without any snags. After a lot of flaffying around I realised if I filed the plastic edges of the rivet housings flat (they were only about 1mm proud) and then refitted the rivets in the housings the diffuser fitted perfect and so did the bonnet. Small issue that caused an hour or two of stress but pleased with the way I resolved it. Worth remembering if anyone else has this issue. Thanks Martin

    MOD HELP REQUIRED

Thanks for your advice and responses. I am going to refit and try adjusting the bolts around the bonnet catch mech as suggested. I have a standard front bumper so not sure why its a problem at the moment. As i say, will try adjusting and seeing what happens. Thanks guys.
  3. I have justed purchased and fitted a carfbon fibre air diffuser cover plate to my 2006 Zed. Had no problems fitting it and replacing the pop rivets with news ones in the process. Looks lovely but now the bonnet wont close !!. I cannot see where it is failing as there is plenty of clearance around the bonnet fixing mechanism on the plate. I have had to remove it as despite my best efforts i just cannot get the bonnet to close tight. I cannot see any way of making any adjustments so at this juncture it seems it wont be going on my Zed. I know there are many owners who have them fitted so i am appealing for some advice on how i might overcome this aggravating issue. All advice / help will be very much appreciated. Thanks in advance Martin
  4. Hi All Just wanted to share with you a purchase I made on ebay for a CF radiator diffuser cooling plate. Having seen how expensive they are in the UK but really fancying one for my Zed I had a look around on ebay. I purchased one from Zenaracing in Japan. £49.99 + £22 postage plus £21 for import duty (£93) delivered. It arrived yesterday and is a fantastic piece of CF, great finish etc and fits perfectly on my 2006 zed. I would highly recommend it if you are looking for one. It arrived within 10 days too. Item number on ebay is 120960595289. I will post some photos when I have fitted it on Saturday. Please feel free to message me if you want anymore info. Martin

  6. Thanks for all the welcomes I have received today. Looks like I have joined a good bunch of car fanatics. I have attached the second photo I elluded to this morning. Taken after I did the weekly wash yesterday. I hope the attachment worked this time around. Keep in touch.
  7. Hi Z owners. I thought it was about time I introduced myself. I purchased my first 350z 2 months ago (2006 plate) with 26,000 milles having parked the idea of buying a TVR for a 350z (more reliable etc etc). I have to say I have not been dissapointed. Its a great car and I love it. I am only using it as a second car and on dry days (not many of them around this summer !!). I have fitted a JWT pop charger (Thanks Tarmac) and have a polished plenum and strut brace on order with Wasso. I am also awaiting delivery of a polished intake tube from Tarmac too. Plan is to theme the engine bay in blue but not over the top. I would love to know more about meets etc so any feedback on them would be appreciated. I have attached a couple of photos to share with you. The bonnet , mirrors and front bumper (middle) have been carbon wrapped, rear quarter and rear windown tinted. Everything else is standard.
