    P3 SERVICE COST

Thanks Dave. Mine is an 06 with 29,000 on the clock but the previous owner never had a P3 done so it must be due one and will no doubt need plugs, Speaking to Abbey tomorrow. Thanks for the advice Payco
  3. Driving towards home yesterday accross Ditchling common behind a gun metal 370z, Gave him a couple of flicks on the main beam. Shortly afer he pulled over so I thought he fancied a chat. When I approached his window he wound it down and told me he had stopped to take a mobile call !!. Didnt seem interested in talking Z's. I got back in my 350 and drove off with my head down. Felt a right muppet. Anyone had a similar experience ?. Payco
  4. Could you experienced owners on this site give me a steer !! on how much i should expect to pay for a P3 service on my 06 coupe, Went to the local Nissan garage yesterday to get my squeeling belts tightened and was charged £48 plus vat (half hours labour). Asked for a P3 price and the service manager said "eh, thats a big one, dont have a price but its five hours because we have to change the plugs etc etc". Will have to give you a call !!.. On the basis that £48 is 30 mins labour i am thinking the P3 will be north of £400 which sounds huge. Thinking of using Abbey for the first time as i hear great things about them. Any idea on what i can expect to pay someone like Abbey (before i call them), Thanks Payco
  5. Thanks CrustyCrab, much appreciated.
  6. Can someone advise me what the process is / how difficult is it to change over the stock front bumper reflectors to the white / translucent ones. Advice and help appreciated as always Payco

    WHICH LIP

Thanks. Wouldnt mind seeing some more pictures of the different options available. Want to be able to DIY fit and for it to be a tight fit on the standard bumper..

    WHICH LIP

No, not that one. Looking to see if someone has fitted the CF Nismo 33n1 lip. Looks more subtle than the one you have shown. I have my bonnet and front apron wrapped in CF so fancy this one. Thanks for the response.

    WHICH LIP

All Looking for opinions on front lips. I fancy getting a Nismo carbon fibre front splitter lip 350Z 33n1. Does anyone have one fitted ?. If so I wouldnt mind knowing how good the fit is on the standard front bumper and seeing some pictures. Any thoughts or advice on alternatives that are good fits and not over stated would be appreciated.. Thanks Payco
  12. Pazz Not sure where you are located but would be a good idea to come to tomorrows meet at the Grasshopper if possible. Payco
  13. Ian You aren't the only Credit Manager at work today, I am in too although I will be sending them all home at 12.. TBH not a bad thing working (or should I say spending my morning on this site) as my back is killing me having spent 4 hours polishing my engine yesterday. Drove the Focus to work today without a soul in site. Have a great Christmas ALL. Payco
  14. ML I am based just south of Haywards Heath in Wivelsfield Green. PM me if you want to catch up. Martin
  15. Just started to polish my engine bay today with my dremel !!!. I have a UK 06 coupe. I want to remove the cam covers to polish them and have a couple of questions I wouldnt mind some advice on before I do. There is a multi plug style connector on each cover, do i just pull the plug on these and have no other worries ?. Once the cam cover is off, is there anything in behind it I need to be aware of when I lift it off ?. I am slowly learning about basic mechanics and dont want to take on what looks like a simple job and F**k it up. Thanks again for all your responses in advance. Martin
  16. Welcome mate. Few new owners coming on board around Sussex which is great news. I am in Wivelsfield Green, near Haywards Heath. Give me a shout if you are ever up my way. I am 9 months into ownership and modding. Very addictive.. Martin
  17. Welcome mate. I am Wivelsfield Green, not sure exactly where you are in Sussex ?. Its a big old county.
  18. Hi I am in love with the 350Z. Owned mine since April this year having decided to park the TVR dream. Best decision I have ever made. The Z is awesome. I have started modding and got the bug. Been up to see Wasso in Birmingham who is a real star and engine polishing king. I live in Wivelsfield Green just south of Haywards Heath. Let me know if you want to pop down for a chat and i can take you out for a spin. My car is an 06 with 28,000 miles only. I have a carbon wrapped bonnet and mirrors, tinted windows, polished strut, carbon fibre rad panel, pop charger, bonnet dampers and am waiting for Wasso to finish polishing my plenum. Lots more planned as its work in progress. Happy hunting. Martin

    Speed Cameras

Ian, Thanks. I did speak to you about yours when I was up amongst all the other stuff we discussed, just couldn't remember which one you had. It's looking like i may purchase and get one fitted next week when i have a few days off. Thanks buddy.. Martin
  20. Just canvassing for opinions from any of you who have a detector fitted in their Z. Which brand / model do you have fitted and in your opinion was it a good investment / gadget ?. Looking at maybe buying a Snooper 3zero and having it hard wired into the car. I am dont drive the car agressively and am not a careless driver but for the investment versus the cost of potentioal points/insurance increase thought it might be a good idea and another gadget for the car too. What do you all think ?.
  21. Hi Welcome. Terrible disease once contracted. Enjoy spending your well earned on mods...
  22. Hadnt seen the video before, its absolutely cracked me up, brlliant. I already have a rear door fitted to my garage otherwise a side door onto the pathway adjacant to the garage would have been hillarious but with value and purpose.. Thanks all.
  23. Thanks, i have a few options now thanks to you all again..
  24. Thanks. Will attempt the carpet approach next weekend. Just torn between the risk of scraping her versus leaving her out....Would really like it tucked up in tha garage if I can. Will post the result next weekend..
  25. Thanks. Early 1970's built bungalow.. Any builder worth their salt would have thought about 3.5 litre sports cars of the future and factored it in...
