  1. After some advice. I have just fallen out with first central over my second car insurance cover. Because i didnt reply in time to my renewal notice they cancelled my policy ( i was away on business). They now want to charge me £140 as a NEW customer for a new policy when i have been with them for 4 years !!!...They also wouldnt let me apply my ncb to a second 4 years ago when i took out the policy. I am looking to change my cover for my run around second car (ford focus). Can anyone who runs two cars on here tell me if you can apply your ncb on two cars or can only have it applied to one. I have heard from friends who do.. I am shopping for 3rd party only insurance for my focus but wouldnt mind finding an agent who allows me to use my max ncb currently applied on my zed for both cars.. Any suggestions before i visit the meercats ?. Thanks Payco
  2. I am sure this topic may have done the rounds previously however I would appreciate some instructions on the grounding points and installation instructions for a 7 piece grounding kit for my 2006 coupe if anyone has some. Thanks Payco
  3. I have an issue which is proving hard to solve. I recently purchased a new ARC V2 oil catch can from the USA. I ordered braided hoses from Earls to replace the rubber ones that came with the can. Unfortunatley having spent a considerable amount of time and help from other people on measuring the inside diameter of the hoses the ones supplied by Earls are wrong. The spec of the rubber hoses and details in the manual state they are 15mm inside diameter and 10mm inside diameter. The ones Earls supplied are somewhere between 14mm and 15mm (i asked for 15mm) and DONT fit. Earls have kindly offered to work with me financially on replacing them as they are expensive but have suggested I try and establish from someone else who has Earls hoses fitted to their ARC V2 what sizes they purchased. Earls have said the best way to do this is to dig out the persons original invoice (they can go back up to 2 years). So my cry for help if for any of you out there who has Earls braided hoses fitted to their V2 to either let me know what size hoses they ordered from Earls or better still be so kind as to give me their details and allow Earls to find their invoice. If you can help it would be greatly appreciated... Thanks PAYCO
  4. My Earls hoses arrived today to fit to my NEW Arc V2 Oil Catch Can. The 3 hoses including ends delivered cost £142 as per Wasso's last post. Nice bit of kit. Cant believe the can and hoses have cost around £420 all in but it will look very nice when fitted and rare as a 100% meat burger from Tescos.
  5. Definatley interested if you can produce one that is a good fit for a 2006 without having to do any fettling...

    Camber Arms

After some more advice please. Decided on purchasing a set of Meister R Zeta-S coilovers for my 2006 coupe. Going to fit 25 and 20 spacers at the same time. Plan is to lower her 25 or maybe even 30. Can someone please confirm whether i need camber arms (front or rear or both) if i lower her to either of these levels or only if i lower it 30. If i do need camber arms can someone recomend which ones i should look to purchase to go with the colieys. Thanks Payco

    Old Chestnut

Planning to fit coilovers on my zed. Plan is to go for the Mesietr Zeta - S. Drop her 25mm and fit 25mm spacers at the rear and 20mm at the front on standard Rays until spring next year when I plan to replace my Rays with 19's. Does anyone have this set up that they can post a photo or two of. Want to see the stance of the car etc. Any feedback on the cars handling on this set up will be appreciated as always. Think i will need camber arms too, can someone confirm. Appreciate this thread has done more rounds than a paper boy but this is a sizeable investment and I want to pick the brains of the experts. Wasso has already assisted with some great advice. Payco
  18. It's ads like this that tarnish e-bay as a good means to buy and sell. Shocking bit of false bidding as well. Hope there isnt a fool out there that will get sucked in and part with their hard earned.
  19. Might do mine in denim. Was thinking i could use all the old pairs of jeans i have and if i leave the pockets in. That way they will be ideal storage areas for coins, spare keys etc.
  20. Ok. Welcome anytime Sat or Sun mornings are best.
  21. Oderuyter Thought i saw you parked outside the village shop around 5.30pm towards the end of last week. I was in my dailt driver (Ford Focus). Would have stopped to say hello but was running late. You must pop round one Sat morning, i am nearly always out there, washing, polishing etc. Payco
